blog-0297753001422328332.jpgWell its almost been 3 months since I had surgery, I am now 280.1 Pounds as of January 13 2015. I ma eating pretty well overall however I am having difficulties remembering to take the large volume of vitamins that the OCC wants me to take. That plus the vitamins are a pain in the butt to get in Canada because you can only order online and only if you have a Paypal account. I have been looking at comparable vitamins at GNC and will be switching in the next week or so when I get back home to Edmonton.

Hi Tyler, I joined this forum and stumbled onto your blog. I was looking for other Canadians as I live in Regina,SK. I've just been recently included in the govt program which I have to go thru a six month program before surgery, which for me will be good.

We sound very similar in our stories with weight issues except that I'm much older but am diabetic, high blood pressure as well as high cholesterol (triple threat).

It looks like you are off to a good start with the sleeve which is what I'm leaning towards as we only two choices in our provi the other being the gastric bypass. I have so many questions but don't want to really bother people with what maybe rather dumb. There's a few things that worry me about the procedure, not being able to drink carbonated beverages (read beer here) and limiting coffee, which I consume a great deal of.

If you would be up to discussing your situation so far, I would certainly be interested in corresponding.

All the best,

Take good care!
