    Chantix is a wonderful thing. My husband and i both starting taking it together. On the seventh day, you quit...and it is actually that easy. We have been smoke free for several weeks now, and I don't miss it at all!

    It was so nice to meet y'all as well. Your daughter is adorable! I am doing ok right now. I am in some pain, but it is manageable. We are getting ready to go out walking around the town. I am sure that will do me wonders. Thanks for asking. It was a great experience, and it wonderful to meet you!

    I did the shake for lunch and breakfast and a lean cuisine for dinner. It was very hard. I felt like I was starving. I don;t know much about your other options though. Good luck with whichever you choose!!!

    The reason for the pre-op diet is to make the liver easier to work around. From what I understand, some people don't have to loose weight in the beginning because their BMI is already low.

    It was so nice to meet you and your family. I am so glad the pre-op is done, and believe it or not, I can't wait to be on the operating table tomorrow! All of the staff at OCC has been awesome so far. Dr. Miranda is wonderful!!! She explained everything so well and was very funny. The staff at the Lucerna has been great too. In fact, the only not so wonderful parts so far were the fasting for the pre-op and the guy on Revolution Avenue selling "real" silver neckles!

    Thanks for the suggestions and advice everyone. I am so excited!!! I am a teacher, and we only have 1 week left. Between that and the excitement about being banded, time so going so slow! :lb12:

    I think I am staying at he new hotel. I only draw back I see is that it doesn't have a pool. I don't think I am going to be doing much swimming anyway! Which one are you thinking about?

    Hello Everyone! I am having my surgery on 5/30. I am just starting my pre-op diet, and would like to start one of those ticker things as well. Can anyone tell me how I do that??? Thanks for the help!!!
