  1. No, I found a place about an hour from where I live that I am going to have the ps done. I am very comfortable with the doctor, plus he does a lot of surgeries after people have had weightloss surgery. The price was only about a $1000 different from what it was in TJ, so it made since to have it close to home so I wouldn't have to travel for my checkups. Thanks for all of the comments. I will say I would do the surgery again in a heartbeat. I am in a lot better health physically as well as mentally. I have TONS more self confidence since I have lost the weight. I can only imagine what it will be like once I complete the process. Thanks for all of the support. I love you guys, Heidi
  2. I added the pics. Before pic is 225 my after pic is 153.
  3. I haven't been post in a long time. I just wanted to give you some updates on me and how the weightloss is going. It has been 7 months since I had my surgery and I am down between 72 to 74 pounds, and I am within 10 pounds of my goal weight. It feels so good, I can't believe that I am almost there. I went for a consult right before Christmas. I knew there was no way my husband would ever go for any more surgery, but after the consult and talking to the dr. My husband pulled out his checkbook and put down my deposit. I was in total shock. He said that since I had worked so hard at losing the weight and keeping it off, that it was only fair for me to get the body I had always wanted. I am going to have a tummy tuck (I have extra skin from the weight loss), breast lift with implants on June 1. I am so excited. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope that everyone had a blessed holiday season. Here's to a new us in 09. Heidi
  4. Thanks for the compliments... I really don't have a good answer as for what I have been doing to lose the weight. I have a REALLY aggressive fill doctor. My first fill he gave me 2cc and I lost 20 pounds. When I went back for my second fill he said that he was very impressed with my weightloss and said my second fill he was going to hit a homerun, he put in another 2cc. I am three months out from my second fill and I still have tons of restriction. I always eat my protein first and my new snack is peanuts (tons of protein). My students have even noticed that I will snack of peanuts so a couple of them have brought me cans of them.. On Friday's they know if they are quiet the will get some peanuts at the end of the hour. Other than that I really haven't done anything. I am starting today working out with one of my softball players. She is an office aide 6th hour so instead of her sleeping for the hour, she and I are going to start working out before softball practice. Once you figure out how to eat again, which takes a long time getting use to, the weight will start coming off. It is very important that you eat though and don't starve yourself.
  5. Sorry about the multiple posts my dog jumped up on me and hit submit and I can't figure out how to delete the other posts. Ok I just wanted to share my wonderful news. This morning I go up and did my norm, go to the bathroom, get naked, then weigh. Hey I don't want any extra weight on me. Anyways, I got on the scale and I couldn't believe my eyes... it said 175. That made my weight loss since surgery 50 pounds. I haven't been this happy in a long time. I went to a beauty clinic (where they do make-up, botox, lipo-dissolve, etc..) yesterday. I hadn't been since August. When I walked in I saw the girl who always had helped me before, I said hi and she gave me this funny look and said hi back. A few minutes later she came around the corner and sat down beside me and was like "Holy Shit, Coach Flan you lost a ton of weight. She took my pics again and printed off the before and now pics, and they took my measurements. It was awesome. Here are my measurements... 2" above belly button 42 1/2 to 33 1/2 belly button 49 to 41 2" under belly button 51 to 42 4" under belly button 52 1/2 to 42
  6. Thanks for all of the compliments. You all are wonderful. Evette, I am 5'6" so yes we are about the same. You look so much smaller than what I do, but I will catch you one of these days. lol I have my bikini on my bathroom counter so I can try it on once a week.
  7. 204 195 178 Slowly but surely it is starting to come off!!!!
  8. You look great and so happy. Congrats and can't wait to join you.
  9. As many of you know, I am a teacher and coach and as a result I am gone quiet a bit for softball tournaments. In my building it is just the 7th and 8th grade students. Today for some reason there were a lot of the 8th grades students in my hallway just coming up to talk to the teachers from last year. I was standing in the hallway when one of my kids from last year came up and gave me a hug and said "Ms. Flanary you have lost a ton of weight you are looking great!" Talk about making me teary eyed. Yes sometimes middle school kids can drive me nuts, but every once in a while they do show that they have a sweet side.
  10. Misty you are looking HOTT. You and I started out close to the same weight, I can't wait until I get to where you are. I am 4.5 months out and I'm at 42 pounds.
  11. I am still learning how to eat. When we go out to eat, I still want the food that I had before surgery. I am learing to just share with my husband. Last night, we went to our friend's house and had fajita's. I ate half of one fajita and started feeling full. In the time that I ate that one, everyone else had ate three or four and was finished with dessert. I am learning to eat at my pace and not everyone elses. It is taking time getting use to it though.
  12. He sounds like a sweetie, you are both very lucky to have each other. Thanks for sharing your special day with us.
