Hey there Nebsmom, I ate some salad and the only thing i had problems with is the broccoli and the cauliflower...it HURT!!!! ( ( ( but the lettuce and everything else was good just stay away from the hard raw veggies... :lb11: Hope that helped Sara

Hey ther Crazycoolbutterfly, I have been lightly jogging, and doing the ellipictal, and i feel great. I have had no prob with anything just a lil soreness from not working out in so long! That is so awesome with the walking 6000-7000 steps sheeezzeee that is awesome....If you want to try the ellipitical i would i dont think thatit is going to hurt you, but i read that you are having some soreness in you port site, so just take it easy and so a little bit at a time okay?? I hope that everything works out but if you cant then keep on with the walking...just whatever you do you just have to get you heat rate up!! When are you flying in to get your fill? Or are you getting it done in your hometown? Laters Sara

I always hiccup after i eat but it is always just one hiccup a single little hiccup it is knda weird. But i talk while i eat ( not with my mouth full though redhead hahahaha) So maybe from now on i will jsut shut up and eat my soup!!! Sara

Hey there Guys It is so weird to hear about the chip lickers and the cucumber lover!! hahah but i must agree....it is so weird how ever thought that we would be in love with food o much that we would lick a chip or chew a piece of pizza and spit it out! i mean COME ON!!!! but i must say that i am with you guys and i am totally guity of all of these crimes! Sometimes i have to catch myself and tell myself that i cant have that. I feel like i am in a cartoon and i have a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. It is like an automatic motion for me and before i know it and can even think the food is allready in my mouth and i have to spit it out...it is really crazy.. hey everyone, Lora- I have been getting headaches for the past 2 days. You are so smart i didnt even think to connect the two. I just take some tyenol and mine get better. Like Brook said it could just be something that we are eating or lacking and our body is not likeing it. So maybe we should jsut pay more attention to what we are consuming as little as it may seem. Brook- I have been getting cold easier too! it is so weirdd i didnt connect that either to the surgery. But you are right we dont have the insulation that we used too!! hahah Our body is not used to us being so skinny!!! To rememdy this problem I grab my big old fuzzy blanket and cuddle up with my hunny on our big ol couch! That usually does the trick! Sara

I fasted before my pre-op tests. I didnt get to the OCC till about 2pm and i started fasting the night before...so needless to say jus like Brooke did I WAS STARVING!! but i was scheduled to have my surgery 4-11 but since i fasted and the other people didnt Brooke and I got to have our surgery the day before. So i guess the answer is YES!!! Fast before the Pre-op tests!!! Sara

Readhead, I dont know if you remember seeing me but i got banded on 4-10. I was in the end corner room. I just wanted to say that I am so happy that i am not the only one that is getting those gut wrenching pains and the cramps. I have been talking to brooke and she says that she is still kinda not hungry! and i felt so horrible telling her that i hav been hungry and been getting those pains! I have not cheated and have no plan on doing so but it sux. I think that i am going to go get myfill as soon as possible! i live in San Diego so the travel part is not an issue for me. Well thanks for posting this and I am glad that i am not the only one! Are you going to find a fill doc in Canada or are you going to fly back to TJ? Thanks Sara :lb13:

Well hello ladies, I was banded on 4-10 thursday also!! i was suppose to be banded on 4-11 friday, just like brooke! Just a little update all is going great! i have lost 10 lbs since surgery and i feel great. I am having trouble with the soup stage because of the fact that I JUST DONT LIKE SOUP!! hahah so i am watering down flavored instant mashpotatoes to a creamy soup consistency and that is what i eat and my shakes and yogurts and popsicles. But all is well here in my little world!! Cant wait to see you guys when we get our first fill!!! yeah i cant wait!!! Laters Sara

Hey there, Well i was banded second to last on 4-10. I am doing good so far have had some gas pain it is not as bad as the first couple days (atleast now i can sleep the whole night!!) I have pretty much been living off of broth, water,and popsicles. I am trying the yogurt drinks today kinda scared but im sure it will be allright!! I have not really been hungry just kinda drinking to stay hydrated ya know? Well im hoping that since we all did not get too meet the day of surgery that maybe hopefully we should meet on our first fill day!!!!! Hope all is well!! Sara
