  1. Crissy~ I went for my fills to Roswell from the beginning. I figured, the first fill is a bit on the pricy side, but still about the same than going to TJ (package + flight) BUT I'm only 45 min. from home - if there should feel something not right. After the first fill it get's less expensive. I love Darlene (NP) she is really great giving fills !!!! I think most of us went to Roswell from the beginning, or guys??
  2. YAYYY let's meet at the office then ? Is George coming too ? John says hi to you guys :-h
  3. Yes pleeeeaaasssseee. I forgot to program it too and really, really would love to see it. I even tried to watch it at work (hiding in the conference room) but did not get the TV to work
  4. I wouldn't say I'm moody, I'm actually feel better each pound I lose - but being banded sure didn't help my impatience :bad:

  10. Jacque, don't leave us !!!! YOU are a part of this wonderful and inspiring group of bandsters/future bandsters Unfortunately - in our life, we will always have to deal with people who are not on the same page or try to spread negativity. If we ignore those - we will be the winner at the end
  11. Michelle, I am so sorry! I pray that whatever you lost - will be found or returned to you soon !! Keep your head up sweetie >
  12. 3 months 1 week out - lost 31.5 lbs which is around 10 lbs a month WE ARE SOOOOO GOOD

  14. Jajajajaaaa "Sweet Tomatoes" that sounds great !!!! Since there is not such a thing like a "p.m. restriction fill" I have to pass on that one, but if you guys get together, please let me know, John & I would looove to join and see you all again Dawn, do you want me to show off my new jeans ? I'd do it even if it is 100°F
  15. Oh Donna! What a though day that must have been. I'm glad Arabella is o.k. and doing better, poor thing! True ... it is a lot of money - but sooo worth it (Our doggie had orthopedic surgery about 6 weeks ago and we paid about about the same) We are all proud of you having such a strenght to stick with only one slim-a-bear ice cream bar =D>
  16. Hi Linda - here is the Salad Queen I do have very good restriction until the evening, this is the time when my band is somehow getting loose No matter how creative I get, fixing my salad (mostly Spinach or Iceberg with fresh mushrooms, cucumbers and peppers, beans, feta cheese etc.) I could eat probably a "normal" sized portion or even more. I always have my chicken/protein first but still, it doesn't keep me full for more than maybe 2-3 hrs. before I get kind of hungry again. That's because the salad is going down easier/quicker than the more solid foods. But .... since being banded I am addicted to salad and I just have to have it
  17. Oh no Kimmie, sorry to hear you are not feeling well > To me it sounds more like a virus than band related ... keep hydrated and try to get something down that would help with the "runny behind" Hope you feel better soon :lb4:
  18. CONGRATS !!!!! That is awesome Cathy !!!
  19. Better late than never WELCOME BACK DENISE >
  20. THIS IS FOR SURE NOT NORMAL PROCEDURE I had two fills since surgery, both at the Fill Center here in Roswell GA. Not such an experience at all !!!! Darlene (NP) hits the port right away - no pain - no discomfort - no nothing .... I'm so sorry for your bad experience > Hopefully you'll be able to find someone else to do your fills ??
  21. I have been very busy this past couple weeks and just about to catch up on all the posts .... Anyways, I'm so happy for you that it turned out the way it did For postponing your surgery date - look at it as a little more time to do the pre-op-diet Good luck to you sweetie !!!
  22. I'd like to add my "kids" too Our babies are rescue's and came into our home as 3-4 month old puppies/kitten: JOY our first born "GirlyGirl" - she was found on the streets severely beaten ... JAZZY a.k.a. "Big Momma" - was rescued from a Pit Bull Fighting Organisation, used as a bait ... JAKE has his girls in check - the breeder thought his fur was not fluffy enough to be "AKC" registered and just dumped him ... MEPHISTO the snuggle bug - I just couldn't break my moms heart, so he stayed with my parents back in Germany ...
