Anything between 1-3 lbs. a week is just the way it suppose to be. We are all different, some lose faster - some lose slower, but at the end of the day WE ARE ALL LOSERS >

Hi there and welcome!!

My diet plan was a little different from the OCC, I was banded in Canada.

On the clear liquid diet for 7 days, you can have the following:

water, broth, popcicles, clear diluted juices, plus any other clear liquids you can think of

On the non-clear liquid for 14 days, you can have the following:

water, fudgecicles, liquid yogurt, shakes, creamy soups and any clear liquid from prev. list.

Anything you can get through a straw you can have.

It's not easy, but it's worth it!!!!

My hubby was banded 3 weeks ago and he had the hardest time to get those drinkable yoghurt down, so I asked Dr. Miranda and she told me to have instead some Probiotics powder (Liolactil) mixed into the drink. Did the job

About the drinking ... I could drink relatively "normal" again after the swelling from the surgery went down up until my first fill.

With a good restriction you mostlikely can't and shouldn't chug the water down :lb12: .

I had a NSV as well ... yesterday we went to the mall and I finally stopped at the jewelery store and got my watch adjusted. The lady took out 2 pieces and it's still a bit loose heheheee ... those two pieces where the ones I had to add originally when I bought the watch due to my chubby wrists .. I guess that means I have normal arms now ?? hahahaaa

I finally made it into ONEDERLAND :girl_dance: ... and I can tell you ... I feel GREAT !!!

Sometimes this journey can be a little frustrating, but most of the time it is sooo rewarding and I really can't imaging where I would be without my beloved band .... probably bigger than ever :lb12:

I wanted to thank each and everyone for the great tips, help and support! From the very first day until now, I know I could not have done what I did without you - you guys are the best ever !!!!!!!

I'm super happily married ... so not out there looking, but if it was me ....I would try to arrange something that is not about FOOD etc.

Sometimes, when I'm out for dinner, I tend to make a too big of a bite or eating to fast with not chewing enough --->> means after the second bite I have to take a break to see if I have to excuse myself :lb12:

Having the surgery is one thing, sharing it with someone you don't really know that well is a different one, so I would probably not tell my date until I think it get's more serious

60 POUNDS is something special ... isn't it ?

I was very excited when it was 20lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs then 50lbs BUT 60lbs seems like it brings us soooo much closer to our goal and our appearance is changing drasticly - we even turn heads again hahahaa

I have one more pound to be on ONEDERLAND and can't wait

I recorded it and only have 50 more min. to go until I can call it the weekend.

Guess I will snuggle up on my couch watching the show in about 2 hrs. (It is rainy & cold in ATL)
