    Aww thanks.. I am all done with treatments now... I start reconstruction on January 12,2009... I was just wondering how everyone that was able to get banded in May was doing... I hope everyone is rockin their bands..

    Wow you look awsome.. Congrats on such a great job.. No I am unable to reschedule right now.. I was diagnosed 2 weeks before my surgery date with early stage 2 breast cancer and have been dealing with all that... I hope sometime in the future to get my band..

    You do know that with a gastric bypas if you do not monitor and measure how much you eat, you can gain weight with it.. If you think that the Gastric bypass is going to save you from bad habits, it won't..

    Yep the whole drug cartel thing is a mess down there.. That is why you see the armed policia down there.. it keeps the tourists safe..

    I am scheduled to be banded on May 21... I may have to postpone, depending on what happens on Monday..

    Sea Breeze also helps take out the smell from a perm.. Also Baking soda mixed with your shampoo will take out any styling product build-up...

    ok I am up bright and early checking to see if any of the So Cal branches of my medical provider have mammography open on Saturday.. I found one not too far from my house, but now have to wait til 7am to call to see if I need an appointment or if it is walk in like the bigger branches.. So I am sitting here after taking my horse pill and Motrin with an ice pack on the lump, just waiting...

    My mom is reacting the same as your g'ma.. She started with "now Patsy Jean" ( horrible isn't it).. I was so glad we were on the phone that time.. I just picked up my laptop and started reading posts while she lectured me...

    Ok heres the update.. I have a sinus infection and the DR. gave me horse pill anti-biotics for the next 15 days..As for the lump I am trying really hard not to freak out.. The Dr. tried to aspirate the lump but no fluid came out when she stuck the syringe in.. Uggg so I am on my way Monday morning for a mammogram.. I still think it is nothing serious.. I was diagnosed as having fibroids in my breasts in my early 20's,, I hope that it is an infected fibroid or something..

    I am not sure if it is allergies or a cold.. I am so stuffy and feel like crap.. My other problem is that on Wednesday night I did a breast exam and found a lump.. It is painful, so I am thinking that it is a cyst or an infection.. I have a DR's appointment at 7:00 tonight.. I just think this is a crappy way to start my weekend..

    Sweetie 1/4 a lemon and boil it, skin and all. Then drink the water.. it tastes different but will help the water retention

    I think that will be the hardest thing for me.. My hubby says he tips waiters according to how well they keep my Iced Tea glass filled..
