Any one going on the 18th????

I am fixing to try and book an appt to get a fill on one of these days if there is anyone who is going and would like to split the cost of the ride from the airport let me know.

Yes he will take you to a hotel or back to where ever. He took some of ours to work places, hotels and some to the airport. Both times that I have been we have gotten out of the van and walked thru but the line has never been long and we left once at 4 am and once at 8 am. Good luck with surgery and believe me you will love it there everyone is so nice and helpful both at the hotel and the OCC.

Kim~ I have not had any trouble eating bread but I have trouble with tuna fish ( the kind you can get in the pouch) I guess it is to dry. But when you eat it and you PB does anything come up. When ever I have had that "stuck" feeling nothing never comes up it, my mouth just waters like crazy And I love love love tuna fish but oh my gosh the pain is not worth it to me.

The taco stands broth is the best !!! Also for those that are with you the taco's there are yummy!

Thanks!! I thought I was taking in enough but I was way off, I have only been getting about 1/2 of what I should be taking in.

Just thought I would let everyone know that is taking kids! Just a thought get a picture ID. I just got back home today from my first fill, which by the way went great, but coming back across the border they did not ask for anything but my 8 yr old BC, but they wanted picture ID for my 13 yr old son, I did have a picture ID for him but it was old and he was little, they told me that there is not age limit for asking for a picture ID. and he needed an udated picture. :lb12: Needless to say it made me and him just a little nervous but we got thru and we have made it home safe and sound!

Our shcool does not have id cards so I have thier CDIB (cert. of degree of indian blood) cards but the pictures are old ones of them, so i hope that those with BC will be enough. I will let everyone know how that goes. Thanks so much for the quick answers !! >

I need a quick answer I am taking my children with me for my fill appt. and I have thier BC's with me but what else will I need. We fly out tomorrow morning.

Oh my gosh these are the best !!!! :good2: I love them and my all time favorite is the Banana coconut one! They are just yummy! I have at least one a day!

Thanks those are all great ideas and I was the same I never really drank with meals but now that I know I can't do it I really want something to drink. I go for my first fill in 16 days and I have really been trying to not drink for an hour after my meals, but I do drink something while I am cooking and that seems to help. I am just hoping that as time goes by it will just become easier and easier to do with out.

Thank you all!!! I know that when I went down for my surgery all went well crossing as matter of fact it took less than 10 min. to get back in the states! I can not wait to go and get my first fill 16 days and counting down

Has anyone had any trouble crossing the boarder? My aunt is just having a fit because somewhere on the news she heard that they are closing more and more of the boarders, and since I am going with my children this time she is worried even more. So please anyone who has went in the last few days please post how things went at the boarder. :lb12:

Hey Bernice, I am going to be there on the 7th for my first fill ! I am getting picked up at the airport on the 7th by OCC. You can catch a ride with us! Not sure how that works cost part of it. I they are picking us up at 9:50 am. So just let me know.

Hey!! I will be there on the 7th to get my first fill. I am staying at the Lucerna along with my mother and two children. So maybe we can meet up sometime while we are there. You will love the place and every one at the clinic are just angels! >

I think my appt is at 11:00 am for my fill. Are you guys staying over? We are staying at the Lucerna, I ask to stay there since my kids are coming with me this time.

Good luck you will do well I am sure of it! I came back to the hotel after my surgery also and it was so nice to just relax in the room and walk around the pool. Have a great time and enjoy every minute of it!!

I am going on June 7th also! We will be staying at the Lucerna also! The other hotel does not have a pool and since my two children are coming with me I think the pool is a must!

We took our phones with us and we had good service everywhere but inside the hotel! We just went out on our balcony and used it. Otherwise we had no problem at all, and we have Alltel wireless. We called before we left and added 300 mins or international mins and our cost was just $30.00 that way we could use them without the roaming charge for international service. Also there was no charge for text messages, at least that was with my phone company. So I would just call who you have your cell with.
