Well the day is finally here. I am about to cross over to Tijuana and go see the plastic surgen for my pre-op. I am a nervous wreck and my band is letting ne know to take it easy. I am so thight right now I couldn't even get a scrabbled egg down. OMG tomorrow is it. Can't wait till its done. I will let you all know how it goes. Wish me luck and a little prayer is very appriciated. Love u all bunches.

Yeay sistergirlfriend. I am so happy for you. I'm dancing as I try to get myself to sleep. I think I'm having an anxiatty(sp) attack. Or as they say maybe I'm having 2nd toughts that I should have waited to get alittle closer to goal. But for me the body realy doesn't want to part with the fat anymore. And maybe this will shock it into getting on track. Congrats and breaking thru this dumb plateu. Lov u bunches.

Glad to hear this is working for you. I believe that to be true, I am going to have an unfill on monday because I believe im to tight also. Plus I think I need it since im having my plastic surgery on tuesday and I need to be abel to take my pain pills.

Thanks for youre help. I talked to my plastic surgen today and he said its not a must only if I think I need one. I dont so I wont. Since I havent been loosing any weight I believe im at the right place. How have you been feeling now that the swelling is going down. I hope its all going well for you.

Thanks Karen, I have restriction but only in the mornings after about 1 pm I lose it. I scheduled an unfill with Dr. So for the next monday I will see what he tell me. Maybe I can go with out one. But I dont want to be sick or naseaus because I hate trowing up.

Thanks Pammie. May I ask why you had 2 surgeries. And how much you had in youre band at the time of surgery.

Thanks Dave this helps me out a lot. I will give the OCC a call and schedule an unfill for my surgery. When will the clinic open for Cosmed do you know. Maybe I will get to meet you. I will be down there from June 21st till July 2nd. Will be staying at City Express hotel. They say its new and nice.

Thanks Dave, how much was in youre band before the .5cc was taken out. I'm at 3.1cc right now. And with now restriction so I was hoping that they wouldnt take any out. but if it has to be I will do it.

I am getting ready for my journey to have my tummy tuck and lipo done. And my question is to those who have had it done, did the doctor make you get unfilled before the surgery or was it a personal decission to have an unfill. And how long did they tell you it was ok to get youre fill back. Thanks for all youre help in advance.

Cosmed is a facility that has a Dr, Quiroz and he is very good friends with Dr. Ortiz. I dont believe that they give discounts on that. I am ready to go have surgery next tuesday and I am using a Dr. Jaime Campos-Leon he has a web site. Check all youre options before doing anything. Dr quiroz was hire in price for me even tho Dr. Ortiz Called them in my behalf. And yes price shouldnt be the reason for not using one Dr or the other, that been said I did my homework and I had a friend use Dr. Campos and I love the work I saw.

I had a lift reduction about 5 years ago and the insurance did cover it. Since I had documantation on the trpoubles I had with my back. The doctor butcherd me she took me from a 44dd to a 44b I wanted to be a C. Maybe I should charge her now that Im going to get the implants............

I agree with Lisa. The most important thing right now is the baby and youre health. After you have the baby you can have youre band filled again and get back on track, plus have youre beautiful bonddle of joy. Congrats and blessings.

Thank you all. You are all so beautiful. I love you all. And my nerves are starting to kick in. But I will be strong and get thru this. I am upping my protien the doctor said it would be good for recovery. And I am also exercising more. So wish me luck.

I want to wish everybody banded on this day a happy bandivarsery. I year has past so fast, it seems like it was just yesterday I was wondering the hallways of the OCC wondering if I had mad a mistake with getting my band. And today I can tell you its not a mistake, its been a life saving for me. I want to thank a lot of people here for all the support and advice you have given me thru this year. Also I have to tell anyone that thinks this is easy, its not. You have ups and downs and I have had my share of both, specialy since December when they started me on steroid shots for my lower back pains. I went from 192 back up to 208 and once I found this out the doctor and I found a different way to help with my problem and as of today I am back down to my 192. I also have my bodylift, lipo and breat augmentation scheduled for June 23 in Tijuana by Dr. Jaime Campos-Leon. I will try and be brave and post some more resent pictures tonite. Again thanks to all that have posted the good and the bad...............

First of all Congrats on the beginning of the new YOU. That is the step that we have all taken to begin our new lives. Today is my 1 year bandaneversary as as of today I have lost 72lbs. I have had an ugly plateue since January when the doctor started giving me steriod shots in my back for the 2 herniated disk that I have in my lower back. I went all the way back up to 208 and I am finally down again to 192. I love my band. At my highest I have been at 280 so with out this band who know where I would have been today or even if I would be alive.
