  1. I was very proud of myself this weekend. First time I have really noticed it. We travel allot for my daughter's soccer team, and this weekend we were in San Ramon. Anyway, we eat out EVERY SINGLE meal. But this weekend, Saturday in between games we went to lunch and me and my daughter split a Chicken Caesar salad, perfect amount. It was probably equivalent to half of a side salad. Then for lunch yesterday we went to Olive Garden. My total weakness, pasta and breadsticks. Love them to death. But my mom & I split a Chicken Marsala, and I was only able to eat half of my half. I was so proud of myself. :lb16:

    Then the bad, drank way to much this weekend. Also had my first real PB episode. Was eating a half of breadstick on the way to practice last night, (after soccer tournament had to rush home for Olympic Development practice, this is how busy we are) Was sliming the whole way there, got there couldn't say hi to any of the parents, had to rush to the bathroom to throw up. Oh my god did it hurt. But I felt so much better after I threw up. Well so much for breadsticks, I rather be skinny then eat breadsticks!! :D

  2. After being all by myself this week, I thought I do a little shopping :D

    I always wear long (ankle long) skirts to hide my big ol' knees & legs. So I never really paid any attention to pants or even jeans. Well after strolling through the store, my eyes catched a jeans and I thought "yeah, yeah, like that looks good on you" but somehow I could not resist and had to try them on :ph34r:

    No clue what size I would need, I took the 20, 18 and 16 and of course started with the 20 --> too big YAY!

    then I tried on the 18 --> was o.k. but already to big around the waist YAYYY !!

    I ended up buying the 16 which is a bit tight around the thighs but overall fits and I thought a few more weeks and it'll be just right.

    Since not wearing a J-E-A-N-S in almost 15 YEARS, I feel great about it and thought I share my little secret :)

    I totally know how you feel. Isn't it funny how you now think about it, whenever there was a problem, go to the kitchen and grab something to put in our mouth. I am going through that now, little down about my weight, money, ect, you know all the normal things. And all I want to do is go grab something sweet. That is my biggest down fall. Grab the chocolate. But I am going to go walk right now after reading all the responses you got. This forum is wonderful. Also people say to find a hobbie. Someone on here, I think Paula is scrapping more now when she thinks about food. That is a WONDERFUL idea. Which I have thousand of dollars worth of scrap stuff and don't have the time. Either working or my daughters soccer games, which we leave right after work today for the weekend to San Ramon for a soccer tournament.

  4. I started this new recommended diet by Dr. miranda because i reached a plateau and couldnt get out. Well, i am loosing weight like crazy but yet not seeing in the clothes. She wants me to report back to her after a two week period and in that 2 week period, i lost almost 10 pounds. I think is great however, i feel that i cannot eat the same food for the next 4 months until i am at my ideal weight.

    Does this happens to anyone? i am as of today 170 lbs and yet i wear a size 13/14.

  5. Does fruit gag anyone else? Mainly bananas and peaches? I chew them up and then they just get stuck. It alsmost kills me. Bananas are the worst!

    I have been eating a banana in the morning, I did notice today that I needed to eat it really slow. Just depends on the bites I am taking.

  6. These are the ones I use too. I am glad you found them. I have tried the grape and the fruit punch an both are good. When I did the grape, I just mixed with water and it tasted like grape with water. I drink 1/2 of a tube at a time for 21 grams of protein and 88 calories. I use it as part of my mid morning and and afternoon snack.

    I take it all at once, and used it as my breakfast

  7. Ok, so I bought theIDS Sports New-Whey 42™ Liquid Protein - Grape flavor. Here are the ingredients. It was wonderful, and oh my god it totally filled me up. Was it suppose to do that? But they are easy to take, only get the grape or fruit punch flavor per the GNC guy.

  8. Well, I broke down and finally weighed myself today. I had surgery on 07/01/08 and was trying to hold off till my 1 month follow up on 07/30. When I got to the gym today I couldn't resist the scale any longer. I weighed myself and lo and behold, I have lost 10 lbs since surgery. I realize it is a lot and not to expect that much in the weeks coming up, but I was still happy. It is nice to now be closer to 200 than 250! :)

    That is AWESOME!! Way to go, keep it up! :cheerleader:
