Thanks for all your replys - I guess I can put up with it for a few more weeks - was just hoping that it wasn't a "forever" thing. I am better today - if I sit real still it doesn't hurt, but when I move it hurts like the dickens until I move "it" around, then the pain subsides. I read all the posts but I am sure I will have more questions as time goes by. Thanks again, Judi

I was banded Monday morning - the 8th - and everything went great. Everyone one was so helpful - I was really comfortable. We drove back from TJ Tues to Yuma and spent the night. Today we drove home - a 6 hour drive. We kept stopping so I could walk some so wasn't in much pain, but tonight I have a ton of gas so am walking and sipping. But how many days does this go on - or does it ever quit? I am enjoying all the reading from this forum and learned a lot before the surgery so I wasn't suprised on most of it. Judi

Glad you made it home ok and to have the tree up - Good family for sure! But you wouldn't want to be here now in Mexico - it is COLD. And a touch of sprinkles. Our room was really cold and the heat wouldn't come on so called the desk. Would you believe that they haven't turned on the heat in the building yet so they sent us up a room heater - too funny. Anyway, tomorrow morning is my surgery - hope it goes as well as yours. Judi

Great Story! We are leaving in the morning driving to Yuma, then on Sunday Morning we will drive to the border and be picked up. My surgery is scheduled for Monday and this story is so, so helpful. Now at least I know more details on what to look forward to. Thanks, Judi

I just scheduled my surgery for Dec. 8th. We will be driving to San Diego from Arizona. I am so excited and scared at the same time. Hope to see some of you there.
