  1. You look amazing! Thanks for posting! Can you describe your workout routine?
  2. You should also be doing interval training ie alternating the intensity of your workouts. 2 min easy, 2 min hard, 2 min easy, 2 min med, etc. Always mix it up.
  3. Well tonight I had a small NSV because I was sooo hungry, I went to Arby's and got a chicken sandwich and a chicken salad. I love their chicken salads and use my own low-fat dressing. I ate the chicken sandwich first over about 20 minutes. Then I was full. Like, totally full. I kept the salad next to me for awhile thinking I would eat it too, but I decided not to. I stayed full. So I put it in the fridge for tomorrow. That was a really big deal because I really had planned to eat both I think... Maybe the bread from the bun helped me stay full?
  4. yes we do! ugh! The best thing is to rotate your shoulders and stretch your arms as much as possible to break up that gas!
  5. A week after my first fill, I can barely eat anything during the day. I am not hungry at all, I have a few bites and I am stuffed. Beginning around 7 p.m., I am ravenous. I can eat and eat and eat. What's the deal? Will it always be this way? I get my protein in early with Muscle Milk.
  6. the fluro is awesome. I can't imagine having a fill without it. Why don't all fill doctors have it? Is the equipment ridiculously expensive? They would do so much better to invest in it.
  7. The OCC talked to them and they refunded every penny! Yay!
  8. I think you'll be fine, especially more than a week after surgery. I never had any pain from laughing - the only real pain I had came from sneezing a few days after surgery. DAG is hilarious! He was so funny on In Living Color back in the day.
  9. The burping has been pretty constant since eating solid food again, but much worse since the first fill. I really don't mind it though considering how happy I've been since the fill, I just have to watch it around other people!
  10. When I went last week they weighed me...
  11. I haven't that much more farting, but the burping is constant. I probably burp 200 times a day, no kidding. I don't know if it gets better. Of course some kinds of food cause more gas than others, so you will need to avoid overeating those kinds. For example, eating a ton of broccoli gives me so much gas in my system it was painful. I can't imagine what eating beans would do!
  12. My largest one was the slowest to heal of course. Then it began to itch! I think yours sounds OK as long as it is not oozing any pus, and you are doing the right thing to keep it from becoming infected.
  13. Fortunately it has only happen two or three times. I get up and walk around, pound my chest a bit and try to burp over and over. That relieves it a bit. I generally also start coughing at some point. I tried to take a sip of water one of the times to see if it would improve it and it made it totally worse, not better. I can't imagine having that pain and then continuing to eat! My god!
  14. I'm absolutely having to retrain myself. It is not going to happen overnight. I have to remember, remember, remember to eat slowly. Just now I ate a couple bites of beef stew too quickly and suddenly the pain came on. I'm not sliming, I'm not PBing, so what is that pain from? It's like a sharp burning pain and my skin starts to crawl. Is my esophagus contracting or something?
  15. I'm really hungry at night, even after I've eaten dinner. What is a good snack? How about a small bowl of cereal like raisin bran?
  16. After seven days, as long as you don't bite the Fudgsicle. Clear liquids only the first seven days.
  17. It is weird! I guess it is normal for it to be tighter in the morning and looser at night?
  18. Nope. As long as I have a cup of coffee in the afternoon, I feel fantastic! It could be unrelated to the band. Could you have mono or something else?
  19. My restriction is great! They gave me 1.8 cc's (4 cc band) which seems on the high end from what I've read on here. I think it has gotten tighter over the past 48 hours, and is night and day compared to what I had pre-fill. I am so happy. Sometimes I can eat a few bites and I'm absolutely stuffed or get the sharp "STOP!" pain, while other times it seems I can eat a lot more. I don't know if it's because there is earlier food still remaining in the pouch or if the pouch changes size... Btw I also had a Muscle Milk and some coffee today, and will probably eat a Lean Cuisine for dinner. Last night I ate a whole one, just very slowly, and I was definitely full but no sharp pain or PB. It had rice in it too. Weird. I haven't been craving anything so far really.
  20. My day 7 was Thanksgiving, actually, so getting some creamy soup was like a feast to me!
  21. I've been eating the same bowl of chicken gumbo all day. I actually don't mind things cold. Wish I could have some cold pizza
  22. I think you'll be fine with some wine here and there, as long as you're not taking pain killers....
  23. How long do you take between each bite? I never had a problem with my food getting cold before I could finish it - but I do now!
  24. walk as much as possible, and swing your arms around to break up the gas! Do lots of shoulder rolls and stretches.
