Hi we walked to OCC from Plaza Rio shopping center and they said Robbyn was done and doing well. We were a little worried because of her allergic reaction last time. Im glad to see you are doing well Robbyn!

Well they banded me today! Everything went smooth and everyone is so nice. It was great meeting Robbyn and Jeff and I met 4 other people getting banded and 2 are twins!

I am so happy to meet you. My name is Deanna Miller. I will also be banded on May 22 and will be staying at the Marriott. I live in Southern Ca, so they will be picking me up at the Mexicoach at 10am on May 21. Then off to pre-op and hotel. I am getting so excited. Less than a week until I start my new adventure!

I only had 1 pound left to lose of the required 12, had a bad day, now back to having to lose 2 pounds. I have less than a week to lose. I should be ok, but it does get discouraging sometimes! I will get there before next Friday though!

If it makes you happy, keep it up! If you have one at your house, you could practice all the time and go to level 2 next time!

I also spoke with my doctor at Kaiser. He said to definately do the lap band rather than the gastric bypass. There are so many bad side effects with the gastric bypass and much more invasive. I have researched the lap band for over a year. Yes, some people have a few problems. But nothing as horrible as some of the results from gastric bypass. The lapband problems were really minor and easily corrected. I am having my surgery May 22,2009 and am a little nervous, but excited. I have total faith in Dr. Ortiz and can't make to become healthier.
