Yo gang - we are all out of surgery and everyong is doning great. We have had a few popsicles (manna from heaven), juice and water. We've all been making laps around the hall. Even went out of the patio to soak up 70 degree Sunshine. Everytone here is super nice and very professional. Dr. Ortiz is a hoot and cute! - liked him right away. The processure itself is about as easy as it could be. You feel alittle groggy, but that is the only things. Thanks for everything guys.

Ok guys, after getting up this morning at 3:30 and headed to the airport, we are finialy here. There are 3 of us here who are getting banded tom. (jumping up and down)! We have checked in to the Marriott and everything is very nice. Getting over the border was no problem but alittle scary. We have already been to the mall to walk around and are back to have supper, visit and then hopefully get some sleep. It has been a long day. Hugs and Kisses to all! I am packed and ready to go. (Can hardly stand myself) We fly out in the morning to head to OCC - watch out, here we come! I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you. I could not have made this decision without you. Everyone here has been very gracious and I want to let you know how much it is appreciated. It is nice to have a place to come and to be a part of a group who is honest with the good and the bad. A place that is truly interested in your over all well being and a place of encouragement. I consider myself blessed to have a great bunch of people I now consider my buddies. Thank you.....Hugs & Kisses!

Thanks Cheryl, that's good to know. My band date is on the 7th. What about bottled water? Everyone here is telling me ....."don't drink the water". I have some drink packs to take with me, so was wondering about the water thing.

Hey, I know how you feel. It took me a few goes at it too. If you want to add a comment to something in general, go to the bottom of the page and hit "Add Reply". If you want to comment on something an individual said and wand it highlighted, go to that comment and hit "reply" within that persons comment box. A new topic is at the top of the page. Hi, my name is Amy. I will be banded on the 7th, my buddy and I are staying at the Marriott as well. Hopefully we can catch up with each other. I know there's another person being banded on the 7th too. It will be nice to have some others there to go through this together. I'm getting supper excited!

Hi Anna, Amy here. I'm am getting banded on the 7th - hopefully see you there. I think in the recipe area there's a post named: "Liquids Anyone"? that has a list of stuff too. I'll try to find it and make sure. I think the hotel can do all the broth stuff, but I was wondering about bottled water as well.

I have to lose 15 for pre-op. I have lost 13 so far. I've been pretty amazed since it's been the holidays. It's not been to bad, but I have discovered I'm a "night-time" eater and you just got to love that "head hunger"! If I keep busy and drink lots of water, it helps.

A friend of mine posted a few things on Facebook about the past 10 years. What sticks out in your life over the last decade? In 10 years I have moved once, flipped and totaled my Explorer, had a partial hysterectomy, been married 14 years, gained 4 fabulous girlfriends, started a church, became a child's director, went back to work, gained and lost the same 50lbs., at least 50 times, seen my baby boys grow to be taller than I am, seen God heal my Mom of cancer, witness a sweet 10 year old girl have brain surgery like it was a piece of cake, loved, laughed and cryed. Made a decision that will change the rest of my life. Wouldn't change a thing. (ok, maybe a few). WoW, God has turly blessed me! What about you...what has happen in your life over the last decade?
