What did you guys use to call home from Mexico? I understand calls can be made at the OCC, but I was wondering how to make calls from the hotel. My mother is curious about this since she wants to be in constant contact with home while we are in Mexico. Thanks!!!

Hey buds! I was wondering if anyone has the lap band and a diabetic insulin pump. I was concerned about how the pump will play a role during surgery and after during my post-op diet. I will be visiting my diabetic doctor prior to going to the OCC on September 10, but I always like advice from the wonderful bandsters! Hope all are well!! Thanks for any advice!!

I have Type 1 Diabetes and am getting banded on September 10. I was wondering if there were any bandsters on here that have Type 1 as well. I was wondering how you tweaked your pre-op and post-op diets with diabetes. Even at this weight, my diabetes is in excellent control with the use of an insulin pump. I want to keep it that way. Also let me know how everything went during the post-op healing process. Thank so much!!

I think that emotional eating is something that effects a lot of people. I was wondering what people have turned to since they were banded. I know I get this way about once a month and want to be prepared. Thanks all!!
