    I'll be travelng alone when I go in July for my Lap Band to Sleeve revision. I'll have a rental car and need to find a place to park it for a few days. Has anyone used those pay parking lots at the border? Can you tell me and other future patients your experiances?

    I think if you call the OCC and talk to Gloria,, she can arrange a plastic surgery consultation.

    Cosmed in my opinion is a choice I wish I would have never picked. A big mistake. I've had multiple after surgery issues. There's a lot more plastic surgeons out there doing a lot better work than Cosmed. It takes a little work finding them, but they're out there.

    A lot of patients are switching to the Gastric Sleeve because of these same reasons. I too have been looking into the sleeve and could be going that route in the near future.

    My wife and I were just there I've stayed at 4 hotels during the years, the Marriott is a good hotel. Across the street and south a few blocks is a Calimex grocery store. A Walmart across the street from Calimex. Be extra careful crossing the street, traffic is terrible. They'll shuttle you to the OCC. I think you get free chicken broth at the restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfy. Cons: The hotel bar doesn't make a very good margarita.

    My wife and I met a lady at the Marriott. She had it done, but I couldn't tell you anything about it. She was there to escort her daughter who was having sleeve surgery at the OCC.

    I'm just back from TJ and had my #30 tooth finished with an implant and crown. The trip went really smoothly. I don't know if you guys remember Melisa from the OCC, but she's now at the Dent-Art Center.

    Things have changed at the border and they're not done with the construction. You still take the #992 bus at the airport to the tolley station, then take the Blue line trolley to the border. This is where it has all changed. The old way doesn't exist anymore. When you get off the tolley, follow the flow of people. You now go around the back side of the US customs building. Come out and go across one foot bridge and your at the Taxi stand.
