you will still adjust your not really banded until ur filled dont worry i still lost weight with out the fill

i stayed at the holiday inn express in old town and it was gorgous its brand new and the rooms are very clean it was about 100 dollars a night and the service was great and i too am very very very picky about my hotels

tj is short for tijuana dr. ortiz is the best in the field in my opinion the fill fills up the band so that its tighter and more restricted

its called a signature and its changeable if you go to MY CONTROLS up at the top bar across from your name

yeah same way they will send a confirmation the day before so today you have it done in the clinic in a room behind the front desk

nope not even gas i had a little bit of a problem with one of the scars but i put a bandaid on it and it got better

personally i didnt have any gas pains at all just some soreness but i dont think it should last long at all

my surgery went great im really happy and i think you will be too

it was almost the same as before except i could eat a little bit less i can still eat bread and stuff but in smaller bites and quantaties

idk i got my fill but i can still eat they same old things im not sure of course im eating less but im still eating the same things

did u do the right things because even though im not following the diet to a tee im still losing weight

hey well im back from my fill it was a little painful but i was filled up 2 cc's dr. martinez said its a bit much but i shouldnt be too restricted im on liquids and still a bit hungry so im pretty sure its not too tight i think people are kind of mean for judging me in such a way i do every thing that is neccessary and i am doing the right thing from what i was told (dont forget im only 15 and still growing they have different instructions for me i guess) because when i went to mexico for the fill i talked with a bunch of people who had already had a few fill and they all said that before their first fill they had what ever they wanted but after is when it really starts and i also asked a person who is also 8 weeks post op and he said he eats what ever he wants meaning in any order

i actually talked with dr. miranda and she said you have to eat ur food in that order for the first week, week and a half but she said after that i can mix my food so .... thats what i was told by the nurtritionist maybe because im only 15 i dont kow

im doing everything right in two days im leaving for my fill and im kinda nervous i guess you have to experience it to know what to expect. i have lost a lot of weight and my problem is , is that even before the surgery i wasnt a big meat eater. i dont like eggs and i dont eat pork or steak or anything like that just once in a while i eat chicken so i dont know what to do but i do eat alot alot of fish thanx for everyone's advice

i think i do need to drink more but yesterday all i had was breakfast and a cup of coffee and i am unfilled im getting a fill in 5 days

im 5 weeks post op and i have lost 25 pounds i noticed in the past week that i have lost a lot of weight very quickly i also started getting really bad head aches and i dont eat anything because if i do i feel nauseated i didnt have this problem in the begining it almost started just last week i mean not that im not eating but the amounts that i am are smaller than what we should eat like 2 bites of a plain bagel and im full please help

before i went into the operation dr. ortiz came in to speak to me he is a very nice guy and very funny he told me about some people who have had the surgery and have not succeeded like he told me that this one guy called him up and said that he thougth his band had slipped and dr. ortiz said well how do u know and he say i had a slice of pizza 5 days post op i was shock he also told me something i will never forget; Most people who get a complication work very hard at creating it maybe this will help

i agree 100% people make the band seem like its god's miracle to all of their weight problems but the band is actually the best tool not a miracle i know that i have had to use a lot of my will power and at the moment being unfilled i have to try even harder dr.ortiz is a great guy/surgeon but there are alot of things that can go wrong with this surgery like all others thing like infection to swelling or even internal bleeding who knows surgery is a risk no matter what but if the risk must be taken then it shall be taken

everyone has a different tolerance for pain i myself still have the whole box of anti-inflammation pills i took two throughout my whole experience congratulations you are now a bandster isnt it great im just about 5 weeks post op and i have lost 23 pounds and i look and feel so different in a good way

it took me about one week before i could get up from bed or from a chair easily dont forget that your muscles have been cut through so dont worry in about one week you'll forget u even had the surgery

im getting my fill done on the eight of august so maybe we'll meet during ur pre-op tests

you were banded only 6 days ago and you are hungry that is so weird maybe it mental hunger in the begining i was never hungry even now when i eat normal foods im not hungry so maybe you should pick up a hobby to keep your mind off of it maybe it will help nausea is something mental its not phiscal at all so maybe when you start feeling naseated maybe you can walk around the block or something that would involve contant moving it helped when i had stomach aches after the surgery. hope this helps Orr banded june23 2005 226/204/135

IF U DONT MIND ME ASKING DO U KNOW WHY YOUR BAND SLIPPED??

hey i have just been banded on 6-23 and it was an awesome experience. right now im only on liquids but tomorrow i can start having yogurt. i am also 15 and i weighed about 226 when i arrived in tj but my problem is that i am very short(only 5'2 ) . i have already lost 10 pounds in less than a week and i am happier than i have ever been if you ever wanna just email or im me its fine hope this helps orr
