I have been on here for almost a month now and the board is very active with views but not with replies. It seems to be the same 4 or 5 people posting and replying. I would like to see this forum get more active! Come on bandsters!!!

Hi Jenna,

I just replied to your post on my question of what to bring to TJ for the surgery! Thanks for all the info you provided. I have been checking out LapBandTalk.com and it has been a wealth of information. I am leaving on Tuesday for my pre-ops and am scheduled for surgery Wed. morning!!! yeah!! I will let you know how the whole process went as soon as I'm up for it~

Hi Jenna,

I'm new to this type of communication. I'm anxiously awaiting news from my insurance company if they will cover my lap band surgery. I live in Illinois and there is a doctor in my community who is performing this surgery.

My sisters and nieces have had bypass surgery which seemed pretty scarry to me. I'm very hopeful about this procedure.

Any advice would be welcome.
