I have a desk job and i was wondering if anyone had a problem sitting for a long period of time right after the surgery? Also do they give you pain medication to take home? Manda_T Posted March 24, 2008 Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 You get 4 pain pills after the surgery. Then you can use liquid tylonel. Truthfully, I was out the day after my surgery shopping up a storm. The only day I had a had time was my flight home, I was tired and sore then. So, 3 days after surgery I was chasing 3 kids under 5 and today (6 days later) I am plugging away at work feeling good.
