Chad Posted June 9, 2008 Report Share Posted June 9, 2008 I'm aware of the forum problems that have been occurring and I'm working to fix them today. I'll keep you all posted. Edit: There seems to be a problem with some of the security rules on the server blocking certain actions on the forums. I should be able to work them all out throughout the day today. I keep very strict security rules on the server this forum is hosted on so this may happen from time to time as the rules are updated against new types of attacks. Yeah, I'm not sure how many people were around and still remember, but when we first launched this forum we had a huge problem with spammers for quite a while. We certainly don't want a repeat of that. I remember,, Lori talked me into coming on board as a moderater just a short time after,, It was hell,, I must have had to delete 30 or 40 posts every morning. You had to go hunting for them too,, And soon as that was done,, there came another bunch. It was like waves of spam and porn. Most of the currant members have had it good and have never seen it like it was. The Lapband Forum looks and runs great now. It's come a long way in a short time. Chad's the I T SUPER HERO!!
