I have a wierd/bad taste in my mouth what seems like all the time, I feel like I have bad breath all the time. Is this normal? I am just not used to having food in my mouth all the time? I am sucking on sugar free breath mints constantly... I had same bad taste, i thought it was from the anesthesia...but yea as Mansaw says drink lots of water it helps all the way around! chopper Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 I had a horrible ucky taste in the back of my tounge after surgery for about five days. I would brush and brush and brush but it wouldn't help very much. You should have your teeth cleaned right after the liquid diet ends.
