I'm in the same boat, I was on Vacation this weekend and ate like a pig, Not once did I know what hunger felt like!! I'm going for a fill on Sat and praying that helps. I had my surgery on Fri and went back to work on tues. I'm a Hairstylist so I'm on my feet all day. The only pain I had was gas coming out of my shoulder. I was back to normal in a few weeks....

I had the same issue, I moved my surgery date up, and didn't tell the people that weren't supportive!! when you show up alive and well they will get over their fears, Best of luck, don't let it get you down!! Donna

I did that last night too, Ohh that hurts bad!! I'm 4 weeks out, and going for a fill next sat. I think if eating doesn't hurt it's ok, but I really don't know! I was totally Fine today! Donna

Hey There! I was working out pretty hard before pre-op diet, and didn't have the energy or motivation to do it the week before. Then you can't work out 3-4 weeks after. I went back to the gym last sat. and took it easy. I did lose some muscle, but I figure slowly but surely I'll lose fat and gain muscle back!! Best of luck to you! Donna

I don't know but it doesn't sound like enough food to me, You really need to call your Dr.

They said 3 to 4 weeks, I dirt bike ride, lift weights, and have a heavy child who loves me to lug her around. I didn't do anthing for the first 2 weeks, after the 2nd I felt back to normal and lifted her a little. Best of luck on your journey!!

Hello, They will do the surgery the same day, if all your pre-op stuff comes out well. Blood work, heart test, breathing test, ect. No hidden costs at all!!! Your price includes hotel while you are there. and a ride to and from the air port! Fills are extra plan on that, but OCC was wonderful!! I don't know about insurance, I don't believe they take it, but maybe your insurance will reimburse you?? Don't know best of luck, but I can tell you, you will not be disapointed with occ, they were wonderful!! Donna

Hey Claire, The surgery didn't hurt bad, tummy little sore! The shoulder pain was bad for me it lasted two weeks!! I don't have any good advice for that!! But everyone is different!! I did the pre-op diet, it sucks, but it was really nice losing weight before surgery!! Let me warn you post-op diet is sooooooo hard. Be very prepared!!! Mentally!! I just called my insurance to see someone about my food issues, I was pms-ing and not exercising. Which made it harder for me!! I don't want to tell you that to be negitive, just to be prepared!! I have tried a few of them, the orange is ok.. Green one was sick!! Not a big fan. But try them for your self and see!!! They do have a after taste!!

Dr. Miranda said you can have yogurt or shakes in 3 day, If you have loose BM, lay off the apple juice. That's prob causing it. Give ourself time. I had heartburn bad for 2 weeks, it seems to be gone. This too will pass... Best of luck to you my dear..

Great Question!!! I was banded the day after you!! (2-22) I met you at OCC!!! I lost it today and had a few crackers and noodles. DOES ANYONE KNOW?? Will I hurt my band or anything?? I didn't feel sick or anything... and it all went down fine.

Hey Girls, I'm a Hairstylist I was banded on fri 2-22-08 and I was back to work today 2-26-08. But I had alot of help My assistant helped me alot!! I would take at least a week or two for massage, but waxing or facials you should be fine. As far as gas everyone is differnet I'm having killer shoulder pain from gas coming out of your body. And if you have to work make sure you are drinking and stay hydrated. I was feeling pretty rough this afternoon, but i was starving!! Just take it easy, you may not have a whole lot of energy! Maybe shorten your days if you can.I feel wonderful in the morning, then I overdo it!! Best of luck! God Bless, Donna

Hello All, My Surgery date was March 7th and I got impatient and had it done on feb 22nd, Yes your cell phone will work in TJ, but at the OBC they have a phone in your room that will dial to us for free!! That's a pretty long drive listen to your body if you need to rest, walk, drink..... As far as safety, you will be fine, even though it's nice to have the company. They pick you up at mexicouch and drop you at the door, then return you the same way. And you will make plenty of friends while you are there!!! Best of luck! God Bless Donna

Hello Maggie, They told me 2 weeks utill your healed, they don't want the glue to come off the cuts.... I was banded on Fri 2-22 and I have a 2 year old... that part I agree that part is hard, but it will be worth it!!! Donna
