up your calories to 1200 at least and make sure you are getting enough protein and fiber in your daily diet. I know it is hard to stay at the same weight for what seems like forever but you just got your fill so please give it and yourself a chance. Have you added in the chromium picolanate (spelling) and the metamucil caplets. The chromium breaks down fat and the metamucil gives you a full filling. Try these with the diet and try not to stress. Lora

Well I had my first fill on friday along with Brook and Sara. Dr. Acosta allowed all three of us to go at the same time which was great cause we all had different questions. It was a huge relief to talk with him regarding the different sizes of bands and fills. It was also nice to clear up a few concerns I had regarding certain foods. I have the VG band that has a max of 10cc fills and according to Dr. Acosta the average fill is between 3 and 5cc. He began with 3 and HOLY HECKNESS I could not breathe let alone take a drink so I recieved 2.5cc for my first fill. I have great restriction , yesterday I made some soupy chesse grits and ate a total of one and a half cups for the whole day and was full and satisfied. Both Brook and Sara have the 10cc band with the max of 4cc fills. For their fill amount you can ask them, I don't feel comfortable telling their info...sorry. It was so cool to watch the barium flowing with and without the restriction. Dr. Romero poked his head in a few times and joked around it was so much fun. We even asked Dr. Acosta if we could have margaritas for lunch and he said of course but only under doctor supervision, so we joked about taking him back to San Diego with us for a few hours for a liquid lunch. Well with my band and new fill I feel ready to whoop some flab and flubber, I even purchased a new scale. WISH ME LUCK, lmao I hope everyone has the same wonderful experience as we did. Lora

Hubby and I just got back and we stayed at the Homewood Suites on Harbor Bay. They have a little kitchenette and it was in a shopping center with a few places to eat. It is only 5 minutes from the airport. Have fun. Lora
