  10. We're closing the poll for our lapband get together to be held sometime next February/March/April. San Diego won but not by a wide margin. It's going to be hard to be able to schedule this get together when everyone is available. First, let's get some dates from Lori when she, the good docs, and the rest of the OCC staff can attend a Saturday night dinner with us. Then, after we get those dates, we will try to take a short poll for dates. Open to suggestions!!!!!!
  11. We are all going to be different and need a different number of fills than the other. I can say that you will be pleased with Fill Center. I was! GOOD LUCK!!!

  13. Ramona, I am finding out that my restriction comes and goes - when I least expect it. After being banded since April 4, I recently experienced PBing. My last fill was June 22 - almost a month ago and the past three nights I've been too tight and can't get or keep anything down. Stress? Definitely. PMSing? Definitley brought on by the stress.

Remove from oven. <- IMPORTANT STEP TO BAKE PIE SHELL, DONT SKIP! Put thinly sliced onions in bottom of pie crust Then layer (DRAINED) sliced tomatoes over onions <- IMPORTANT TO DRAIN THE TOMATOES FIRST Mix cheeses and mayo, add black pepper. Pour cheese mixture over tomatoes, spread. Bake pie in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. YOU *WILL* SMACK YOUR GRANNY FOR A PIECE OF THIS PIE There are other versions on the net but this is the recipe that was given to me which I tried today. YUMMMMIE. It's full of protein and the healthiest pie I've ever eaten Enjoy!
  23. Been missing you!

  24. I was a diet coke junkie, having started to drink it about 16 years ago. I had to have my diet coke every morning (I don't drink coffee) on my way to work. I'd sip on it throughout the morning. Go to lunch and have either a diet coke or a glass of coke (depended on how the ice was made!). A total freak. I had some problems about five years ago with bones aching and being tired. A doc suggested to me that it may be the aspartame in the diet coke, so I quit drinking diet coke and switched to regular coke. I did feel better. I quit drinking "Coke" (diet or regular) when I started my pre op diet. I'm saving a lot of money not buying those bottles of Diet Coke in the morning (1.38 bottle) and saving money on cokes at lunch ($1.79 glass) PLUS I feel better. Sure, I have the cravings for a COKE (but in my neck of the woods, a Coke could also be a root beer). I did have a root beer float one day and felt awful afterwards. My tummy hurt all night long. So, you can survive without the diet coke because I am surviving And I truly was the FREAK
  25. I told many of the hard pressuring Mexican salesmen that I will come back after I had a chance to look around and was told "Yeah that's what my wife said and I haven't seen her in over a year!"
