  1. Hello there! Im totally with you. I have very inconsistant restriction. First of all I can never eat anything solid before 2 pm. Then sometimes in the evening I can eat and eat and eat and sometimes I vomit after just 2 bites. We went out to eat the other night at 6:30. I ordered a salad and ate 2 bites then immediatly had to go to the bathroom and I pb'd 4 times. I tried to eat again and chewed and chewed and chewed but again I pb'd. Its was aweful. But tonight we went out to eat and I was able to eat my whole meal though I only ordered an appetizer so it wasnt a huge amount. I am also still having a hard time with meat before dinner time and Im finding it very hard to get my protein in. Sadly I have no problems with cookeys or chips and I really have to stop myself from eathing them. Its frustrating because I typically would try to eat less in the evenings but its really the only time I can get anything down. I will say that it still comes down to making good food choices but its difficult when Im not always able to get the good for me food down.
  2. Hes going to crap his pants when he comes home and sees you. You should avoid body shots until then and surprise him with a skimpy little ditty when he gets home. We'll be thinking about you both!
  3. So Ive had my first fill and I know youre supposed to eat the protein first. 2 times Ive had sliming and then PB'd after eating chicken. Then yesterday I tried tuna and the same thing happened. Im chewing like crazy. I feel like Im just loading on carbs now because thats what goes down easily. Anyone else have the same thing? I dont think I have to much in my fill because I can guzzle water and have no restriction on many things. Thanks in advance.
  4. I pledge SILVER!! Im excited! Thanks everyone.
  5. Youre like the amazing shrinking woman! I cant wait to have the same priceless moment. I'm VERY happily married but I too have the same situation and look forward to running into him!! Fabulous
  6. WOW I wish people made money from burping because I would be rich. I burp SO long and SO loud and sometimes I have no idea its coming. I try to keep them in while in public but man o man. Anyone else experiencing this? P.S. If feels good.
  7. Mom12~ Good question! I too could use a little motivation! I pledge to exercise 30 minutes a day/4 days a week. Brisk walking or jogging!!!
  8. To me it feels a little different. It feels like pressure more in my chest and upper stomach where as before it was my mid stomach. It comes much quicker now too. I ate a lean cuisine tonight for dinner and was stuffed.
  9. Its good for protein and its sweet which makes you feel better. I had tea because I dont drink pop but my friend who is a diet pepsi addict switched to iced tea and splenda and felt much better. Good luck
  10. I think you need a large spoon full of peanutbutter and an iced tea. Thats how I survived.
  11. Before the surgery I could burp. Now I can BURP! Wow. I can get some length and volume in there! Enjoy. It makes you feel better.
  12. DANG!! Thats a TON of weight in a short period of time!! Keep it up!
  13. YAHOOOO FOR YOU!! Its nice on the other side!! Congrats
  14. I found out that Im allergic to the pre-surgery scrubb. I had hives across my stomach everywhere they scrubbed for 2 week. It was aweful.
  15. I was banded 4/29 and my surg wt was 210. Im 201 right now but dont get a fill until 6/6. I cant wait!
  16. I tried to eat a piece of toast for breakfast a few days ago and it hurt so bad. I finished 3/4 a piece and had horrible chest pressure. Then yesterday I ate a piece of pizza with out any problems. SOOOOOO today I tried a half of a subway sandwich and OUCH. I guess I just cant eat bread. Thankfully its not good for me anyway.
  17. Its 27 lbs for me which is a little much but I think its a great goal and I love the group goal idea so Im in! Thanks for the motivation. Perhaps this will remind me that portion control is the key when you have not yet had a fill!
  18. Im totally with you. I ws 201 last week and 203.5 today. Its so frustrating. I have NO restriction. My first fill is June 6th and Im counting down the days. I have no problem eating my protein first, I am even doing great on not drinking while eating and for an hr after. I am NOT doing well on my portion control. I feel like Im back to my old self eating and eating. I was so on track right after the procedure. Everyday I wake up and tell myself that today Im going to have good portion control and make good decisions. I NEED MY DARN FILL!!!! Keep me posted on how youre doing. Were getting our first fills one day apart!
  19. I am so jealous. My first fill isnt until June 6th. It seems like forever away. Good for you to have such great motivation. I cant wait!
  20. I think youre asking a great question. I too wondered the same thing. Any info anyone?
  21. Yes neosporin and a bandaid is great. Its will heal a little slower then the other but will be fine (Im a nurse).
  22. Bandgroupie~ How funny would that be for you to bust out your own baby fork and spoon at a resturaunt!! I dare you!! Ill do it! Whatever makes my butt smaller is worth trying! Have a great day everyone.
  23. I started using the salad plate for dinner but also I started using a baby spoon. The really small one. Its SO hard! You really have to slow down and concentrate and it takes you a half hour to get through a small plate of food. Try it! Its great. Frustrating but great!
