  1. I totally know what you are saying. I use to try really hard to be the quite one so no one would notice me and know I get noticed. At first it was fine but know it's some what embarrassing. I don't have advice cuz i am dealing with it myself i just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Am going through everything you are.

  2. Lisa, you have been such an inspiration to my in this long but exciting journey that I have chosen to take. I completely relate to you especially when you talk about waking up and looking in the morning and still not recognizing the person you see. I have that same dilemma. Sometimes I just can;t believe that its me looking back at myself. I have been so fat that I just got use to seeing the fat person look back not a skinner, healthier person and it's amazing...unbelievable but amazing. Thank you for all your inspiration.

  3. The first thing that you have to remember is that the band is just a tool not a solution. I have the same problem that you do with regards to the tightness in the morning but I just learn to deal with it. Regarding the eating you should really watch what you eat and make healthy choices and another piece of advice that I know has made a big difference in my weight loss is a lot of EXERCISE!!! Well good luck to you.

  4. Today is a very important day for me because I officially woke up 100 pounds lighter....LOL.. I have worked so hard to reach this goal that I have to say that I am very proud of myself. I eat healthy, I workout everyday ( even twice a day) and I really use the band as a tool and it really did work for me. I still have 15 more pounds to go, but for now I am so happy. When I first decided to get the band I really didn't think it was going to work for me but it has. It has not been easy but well worth it. I am a new person not only on the outside, but on the inside too. I feel great and look great.. Thank you OCC and the band for helping me achieve something I never thought I could achieve...finding myself again... =D>

  5. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! =D> That is amazing. I know exactly how you feel when you say that you feel like a normal person. That is the way I feel now and it is the best feeling ever. Once again CONGRATULATION on all your success and I hope you continue with your weight loss. And HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. ><'

  6. I can only speak about me and my experience with my band. This has always been my problem. In the morning is really hard to eat and even drink, but then thought the day my band loosen up and some days I eat really good at night and some days the restriction stays all day and night. It is weird, but that is the way it has been with me. Some days I have too much restriction and some days I have some restriction I just had to learn to use my band as a tool. That is what it really is "A TOOL". Well good luck in your weight lose.

  7. I have got every single on of my fill at the OCC and I have never stayed the night. I usually get the 9:00 a.m appointment and on my way to the border by 10 a.m. I have never had a problem with my fills, anyways, my fills usually don't kick in until about a week later. They make you stay a while mean time drinking water to make sure you are not too tight and the water is not coming back up, in my opinion you should be fine. Good Luck to you.

  8. Congratulations on or little bundle in the oven. I pray that you do have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Any weight lose and especially any physical activities makes a big difference. I now because that is one of the reasons I got the lapband. I had a difficult pregnancy with my last son and I now I wanted at least one more and did not want to risk the life of anywhere baby and mine. Anyways stay positive and have a healthy pregnancy.
