You look amazing. Keep up the good work. How funny that in our before pictures we always look so unhappy? It is amazing what weight lose does to a person. CONGRATULATION!!!!

I would eat all day long, especially when people were not looking. I would probably consume about 2500 to 3000 calories a day and I'm probably been nice to myself. My husband tells me that he lost his eating partner, but he is gaining a new lover. Lol!! I was the garbage disposil. What ever my husband and son did not eat I would make sure I cleaned their plate.

Congratulations keep up the good work

I am so excited for two very special reasons. The first because I get to eat solid foods tomorrow and the other one is because I reached my first goal of many. I wanted to be in the 230 by the time I finished my post op and with a day short I reach it this morning. The scale read 238.5 <' /> I could not believe it. I have not since the 230 in about 5 to 6 years. I weighed my self like 10 times just to make sure there was not a mistake. I just wanted to share my excitment with all you. Thank you for all your support. I LOVE MY BAND !!! It is the best thing I did for myself! <' />

Congratulations on being banded. Welcome to the club.

I want to thank everybody for the support. I did talk to Dr.Miranda and she just said not to do it again and they would check my pouch when I go in for my first fill. I sure will not do that again.

I was told my Dr. Miranda not to have any more protein shakes when I get to solids because it will go right through you instead had a protein bar cuz that will stay in your pouch and keep you satisfied longer than a liquid, but you can ask the good Dr. Good luck

Hey Barb
Thank you very the kinds words Today is a new day I know I can do this, I just need to be honest and I had just a bad guilt trip that I couldn't sleep, but this morning I weighed my self and lost another 1 1/2 pounds and that reminded me that no solid food is worth my desire to be healthy and sexy. Thanks to everybody very your advice this will not happen again. That is a promise to myself. I am worth it!!!

I was banded on June 6 and I'm on liquids only, but I can't say that I been very good about it. I went to a gratuation party today and they had food. Food every were I had a piece of orange chicken when my husband wasn't looking. I don't know what got into me. I'm so disapointed in myself. I'm really scared now cuz I do not want to harm the band or strech my pouch. Also ( now that I'm being honest) two days ago my son was eating chicken nuggets and I had one. I chewed the hell out of it, but still I know that I shouldn't be doing that. Please help!!! Should I call Dr. Miranda? I can't believe that I couldn't stick to 21 days. I also noticed that I can eat more now and I'm hungry all the time. Is that normal? The first 10 days I had good restriction, but know I don't. I guess everything inside is healing and it's not swollon anymore. I need some advice and sorry so long.

I have not really thought about the size just the weight on the scale. The smallest I was ever was a 11, but today I think I would be happy with a 14. I'm saying this cuz i'm in a size 20 and I just can't imagen being small. I'm just happy right now that my 20 are not tight anymore.

Not a real beer drinker, but starting to miss my carbonated diet soda...I may have to put some in a cup and flatten out when I really crave it!
Caesar's are good!!!

I get shoulder pains too, especially after a heavy soup. It's been 10 days since I got banded and they are getting better. Hopefully yours will too.

WTG, glad youre feeling ok. Can I ask how much was you suppose to loose before the surgery. Im about you same start weight and Dr. Miranda wanted me to loose 15lbs. But i've only lost 7lbs. I go on Tuesday for the surgery.
I was told to drop 10 lb and I did. I think you will be fine at long as you lost weight not gained.

I'm doing the PROTEIN shakes from costco. They are called PROTEIN and they are so good. But I know that not all costco carries them. I get them for about 24.00 for 18. IT's a good deal, I really enjoy them.

Cathy, I was freaked out too thats why I started one week early just in case I had a rough time. The first day was the hardest for me, but now it is getting easier. Don't get me wring I still have my moments when I want to pig out. What I tell myself is that if I don't loose the weight then I will not get the surgery and that really helps me stay on track. Hope everything goes good with you and good luck. :lb12:

Hey, so it is not just my imagination. My feet are thinner too. My flip flops are loser and my tennis shoes do not feel tight anymore. I thought it was just my imagination, but now that you mention it I guess that it is not. I'm happy to know that some else is experiencing the same thing.
