  1. Am I reading this correctly? You are down 124 pounds since July this year?????????????????? Holy man!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Damn, was gonna make this one today but our grocery has never heard of white chicken chili seasoning. Am gonna scour the inet for the break out of the spices. Jann
  3. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YOU is so right! Nice one, Kimmy!!! Timely apparently too. I'm happy for ya! Jann
  4. I'm so glad it worked out for ya! Nice work girly! Jann
  5. OOooooO Frank's with Lime -- totally works for me. I guess it's okay since I don't salt any of my food and never have. I must have room for it then, right? hehe Jann
  6. Isn't that the truth?! I weighed myself yesterday. Down one pound in three weeks, no cheats and exercising. Okay, a little cheating. I was consumed by Jazzy's Buffalo Chicken Soup. I've never had Frank's Hot Sauce before either. Between hubby and I, we ate the whole pot. I kept the chicken to a minimum in mine and drank the soup part like it was coffee. It's one of those soothing comfort food soups! I was a little bit down. Hey, I'm human too! Anyway, I digress. I had to run an errand and grabbed a pair of jeans off the hanger without really paying attention. Put them on and they were baggy! Two weeks ago they were a tad tight. I had selected from the wrong side of the closet! It's not all about the pounds and fretting and getting tighter and tighter fills is not my answer. I'm pleased with the way this is going. I'm rarely hungry, I eat good quality food, I don't graze or snack with exception of popcorn now and again, I pay attention to labels and I rely on myself to make the right choices with the band's support. I may not be the slimmest sexiest girl on the beach in Mexico in February but I will be a helluva lot healthier and I will wear regular girl clothes and bathing suits (even if the suits do have the tummy panel)! Jann
  7. You will thank yourself for all that walking, Joanne! Congratulations on your surgery! Jann
  8. Don't be nervous about your fill, Stormy. What happened to Julie is an aberration, not the norm. Fill doctors for the most part follow a pre-set guideline. Our body's and the band clearly all react differently. Just make sure you can drink comfortabley and hang about for a bit to ensure you are okay. Jann
  9. Every city, state, country appears to manage banding differently so I have no idea if there is a support group in your city, state, province. You aren't going to fail. Remove that from your vocabulary. You said it yourself you've cashed out your life savings, you want this. Educate yourself, read everything you can find, know what you are getting into and what's expected or you will be disappointed and you will fail. Pay strict attention to your first 21 days and even your pre-op. They are key indicators of success or failure. We are here and we will support ya! Congratulations on your decision! Jann

  12. Is that who he is? He is definitely cute! Jann
  13. At the risk of being crass, kick her ass! She wouldn't be gainfully unemployed if we didn't exist in the world. Bah humbug! Jann
  14. Oh yay! I've got that program on the PVR as a series recording. I'll be sure and watch for it. Jann
  15. Man, talk about a rough week. <hugs> I'm shocked at how some of these fill centre people talk to their potential clients. It's huge business. You would think they would be a whole lot more respectful! It can only go up from here, Cara. Take good care. Jann

  17. You are re-born hun! You can buy them at any health food store. If you feel a PB or sliming episode coming on chew four of them. It really does help! Jann
  18. Naw, it's a perfectly reasonable concern. I find that I don't PB but I do slime if I eat anything, even the tiniest of bites, before six p.m. pretty much guaranteed since my fill. You've answered your own question. The only thing you left out is EATING SLOWLY. It's crucial. Fork down between bites. Papaya is for when you feel a PB coming on. I keep them in my purse as well. Jann
  19. Awesome Julie! I just left Walmart, nadda, nor have they heard of it. I also checked amazon.ca and again, nadda. We Canadians are so slow! hehehe Jann
  20. OMG Anita, what a difference!!!!!! It won't be long before you have a train of men following you! Nice work!!! Jann
  21. Wow! You guys move quickly Stateside! I tried to order it here but nadda. It's not even on the radar yet. I'll keep watching for it. It's all good! Jann

  23. Excellent post, Trav and I'm glad you are well! That's not the guy version. I basically got the same one liner before Dr. O. bolted. Take good care! Jann
  24. I am so glad you are feeling better! Aw, thanks so much for that. I really appreciate it. I am happier and I honestly do feel healthier. I even made a date with a really good friend to go hiking on Friday. She's been trying to get me to go for two years! She went into shock when I didn't make an excuse to avoid going this time. WOOT! Hugs! Jann
  25. You are a rock star! I'm so happy for your success! Yes, the band is definitely a fickle mistress for sure! I haven't weighed in a couple of weeks but for sure I'm messing with the same couple of pounds over and over. I've started exercising so we'll see what that brings. I don't want to just rely on fills. I like having a little wiggle room. Jann
