NICE HOTEL!! Very nice.. Elevator was a little iffy at times,, but everything else is great.. I was treated like a rock star while I was there!! No worries, be calm.. You will enjoy your stay..

They have computers right in the OCC recovery area.. Also at the hotel.. I didnt bother bringing my laptop.. You won't need it.. just use the hotels and OCC's.. Or what ever you want.

Pain is minimal so tylenol will help out.. Also FYI I didn't take mine and explained to the officers at the border that I just had surgery and they were cool about the meds and let me though with no problems..

Yes yes yes,, I am feeling wonderful,, my hubby took me to lunch yesterday, I put on all my jewelry, had my nails done (while in MX, July1st) got a pedicure here, did my hair wore heels for the first time in a long time and I must say I strudded.. it was great.. I have only lost 23 lbs but I feel wonderful. I am walking/running 2 miles a day, for which I feel so empowered.. This is great!!I love what is happening to me.. I can see it in my face and even MY SHOES fit better.. THey really dooo... call me crazy like some do, but I gain weight in my feet!! Anyone else? XO Lisa

Hey Yo..Was on mine since 1988 on and off and caused a lot of problems for me too... I call it the Barracuda-Devil Drug... It is awful!! I worked for a WL Dr. back then and that was the rage at the tme... Ironic how it all ended up.. glad to hear that you have lost weight after your journey with it.. I am newly banded and very premenstral so I am in a doubty mood rght now but this is the right thing!! ROCK ON PEOPLE!! We are so empowered by having the band and our HEADS BACK!! #-o

Whew that is a good thing to know,,, I saw that and was mortified by it.. I WOULD NEVER want anyone to be on that hot mess of a drug to lose weight,, it doesn't work!!

Ok I am starting solids on Tuesday. I have lost a total of 18 lbs with pre-op diet and 6 post op.. It is 18 lbs TOTAL since June 12th.. So I assume it will start coming off better now right? I have been using soups with the shakes together. I plan to have a 1200 cal diet and exercise daily. I am a little confused and concerned as I have seen some that are using phentermine,, becareful girls that is how I got so heavy using drugs like that!! They aren't good for you and are hell on your heart!! Stop them and you'll gain it back and more!! Please a if anyone has any input on the bigger band let me know,, I would love to hear from you... Hey,, I am two weeks out which means I am still in the liquid phase.. I feel so bloated after I have my fill liquids.. Whats the deal? I am having muscle milk, assorted soups, opti-fast, still have clear broths. Water as well with protien water,, I tried the dinkable yogurt, but it was nasty... Thanks Lisa
