  1. Terrible eating day i'm off today and was bad, but gonna make a nice healthy dinner. B: None, slept in S: Chocolate ice cream (1 scoop) L: Chips and dip S: 1 hardboiled egg (no yoke) D: Chicken, potatoes, and a wee bit of mac and cheese. Calories so far: 1,300
  2. I don't do any caffine and am not a breakfast person either never have been. The first about hour or so i'm up the thought of food makes me sick to my stomach. I take a V8 fusion or EAS protein shake with me to work. I also can do fiber choice cereal (dry) but take it with me and don't eat it until around 9 or 10.
  3. Took today and yesterday off so i'm behind a bit... B: V8 Fusion L: Sliced ham with mustard and carrots S:Chips and dip D: Grilled again - kabobs so yummie! Mushrooms, onions, chicken and shrimp. S: Wine - i'm on vacation!
  4. I weigh myself at least once a day which I don't think is a good idea, but I do it. My mom was a nurse and told me that we can gain up to 5 lbs in any given day (especially us ladies) so I don't let it get to me too much. I do feel it is important to get on the scale to keep yourself in check, but I am focusing much more on how my clothes fit. I really wish I would have measured that is my biggest regret. Especially now because my weight is not going down but people keep saying I am losing weight.
  5. Good luck on your big day!!! I stayed in San Diego the night before so i'm no help we had some really good seafood. They put me through a day early so I probably ate way more than I should have the night before but I didn't know i'd be going in a day early at the time. Stayed at Lucerna and the broth was great. The bullion made me want to gag so except for the Lucerna broth until I got home I stayed on gatorade and special k20 water. Once home I drained soup and just drank the juice. Have a great trip is is a piece of cake!!
  6. Everyone is so different so it is hard to say, but the only one of mine you can see anymore is the large one and it isn't very visible. I also don't forsee me ever being in a bikini, but who knows! I took some pics a long time ago i'll see if I kept them. I've been tanning and when I am that makes mine less visible.
  7. Had one yesterday that had happened before but just was reminded of it recently. Know you are a bandster when you are at a restaraunt and have to come up with an excuse for the Manager when they come to your table worried you are upset with your food because you haven't eaten hardly any of it. Had this happen again yesterday got some food and as always my eyes were bigger than my stomach and barely ate any of it so the Manager came by worried I was not satisfied with my meal. You would think after almost 2 years I would know to not order so much but I always do! Hopefully I will learn someday!
  8. Hey there thanks for asking! I am doing a lot better got another round of sinus meds so hopefully those will really kick in good just started them today. Still a lot of drainage (ugh) but it is slowing down. A little scared for my race this weekend b/c it is hilly, but hopefully the adrenaline will kick in and i'll make it ok! Glad you are feeling better!!
  9. Wow...can't believe it is June! B: V8 Fusion then some Fiber One cereal (dry) L: Carrots and chips dipped in salsa and bean dip S: Almonds D: TBA Calories so far: 600
  10. B: Tortillia and hash browns L: 1 crab cake and some cottage cheese D: 1/2 hamburger patty, pasta salad and corn S: Wine Calories so far: 1,100
  11. We have grilled the last three nights, but luckily my family for the most part likes healthy stuff. We had meat and salad and veggies and stuff each night so it wasn't too bad. My issue right now is I have a sinus infection I can't seem to knock so (TMI...sorry) but with the drainage it keeps making me get sick. Haven't been able to keep stuff down lately. I understand how hard holidays can be though. In the summer we do well, but at the holidays like Xmas and Thanksgiving it is really hard! I just have to go in the other room and not stand by the food or I will graze all day. I keep busy mingling away from the food and try to forget it is there. Hope you all had a great weekend!!!
  12. B: Chili and french fries (didn't eat until almost 11 and I was super tight so very little went down) L: Two Taco Bell cheese roll ups D: One hot dog (no bun) and some chips and dip S: Wine Calories so far: 1,200
  13. Yeah, it has been doing a hot/cold thing here in the midwest so I think that had something to do with it. I am feeling better, but not 100 percent yet. No more ice cream for me! I had a horrible episode last night it made my stomach cramp so bad I couldn't stand up straight and I had the worst stabbing pain in my shoulder I wanted to cry! I know I shouldn't do dairy but I do and I paid for it!
  14. Awesome job you are doing fantastic!!!! I have been hearing a lot about the HIIT training and i'm going to do some reading on it. Sounds awesome! You are doing great!!!!
  15. Sorry you are sick same here...what is up with that?? B: Tortillia and hash browns L: Mini raviolis S: Chocolate ice cream (throat is killing!) D: TBA, the ice cream is doing a number on me so nothing yet Calories so far: 1,000
  16. Wow, you were reading my mind today! I have been thinking about the same thing! I didn't post because just by observation it seems that just about everyone on the board is taken. But if there are folks that went through this i'd also be curious. I've dated, but nobody worth a 2nd date so I didn't have to worry about it!
  17. I can't remember my exact amount, but I gained back about half of what I had lost on liquids between going to solids and my first fill. My fill doctor was pleased and said many people gain most of it back so I had done good. Welcome to what some call "bandster hell!". Utilize the tricks like benefiber or fiber choice caps around 10 and 2 and drink lots of water and really hit those proteins. Tuna is what saved me not sure why but a little bit keeps me full for a really long time. Once I got a couple fills in me it was much easier, but this is by far the toughest time. But it does pass!
  18. Agreed....I could never imagine having GB it is just too drastic. I don't know anything about the sleeve so I can't comment there, but I would only do the band. I've seen the shows on GB and the issues people have and the "dumping" syndrome....ugh! As far as the band and OCC I would do it all over again probably even if insurance would have covered me here. Best decision I ever made! A friend of mine after seeing my results is now having it done here at home in July I am sooo happy for her! Good luck on your decision!
  19. Being sick is really screwing with me I can't taste and nothing really sounds good. B: Fiber One cereal (dry) L: Sliced ham dipped in light miracle whip and carrots dipped in salsa and bean dip D: Spinach & artichoke dip S: A few vodka and cranberry Calories so far: 1,000
  20. Congrats and keep up the great work!!!! You will be at goal before you know it!!!!
  21. Glad to have you back and love your new profile pic...looking great!!!

  22. Thanks so much!!! I always look at your before and after and hope so much I can look like you once I hit goal!!!
  23. You know now that you say that it could be the case! I know at my lowest in my adult life (prior to this) I was doing WW and I got down to 145 and I know I was NOT a size 6 and I mayyyybe was an 8 but I highly doubt it i'm pretty sure I was a 10 I would remember single digits. So that totally makes sense. I have a goal weight set for myself but I am starting to reconsider it. I might change it by about 5lbs and then I have some excess skin that would need to come off if i'm gonna hit that weight. But i'd like to work out hard core to see how much I can get off before resorting to PS.
  24. Still home sick but my fever has gone down so hopefully i'll be back amongst the living tomorrow. B: Fiber one cereal (dry) L: More fiber one cereal - haven't left the bed and the box was sitting next to it so....voila lunch! S: Ice cream D: Peanut butter crackers (forgot my dinner so relied on a vending machine) Calories so far: 900
  25. I wasn't given a calorie amount, but was told should be eating 1/3 of what I used to. I wanted to say, do you know how much I ate!? I would just start with your protein then go to veggies fruits then if you are still hungry eat some starches. If you chew well and eat really slow you will see that you can eat much less than before. Like everyone said you are just going to have to test the waters and see what you can handle everyone is different. Good luck!!
