I second what BigBear says - And will add, He teachers doctors to put the Lap Band i. Has Letures @ NYU. And then there is Dr. Oz from Oprah who had Dr. Ortiz on.......... It's the best place - I would say that 3 out of 7 stories that I read on people that have been Band here in the states something went wrong

Not sure what ya know..... No concerns, OCC is a wonderful place, it's So clean you can eat off the floor - Theres many threads here about traveling & what to expect, great threads on what to pack Too... As for cost or pocket money when you get there, It's not like you'll be eatting so ya don't need money for that... I would recommend having singles for tipping... I tiped my drive... And all hotel staff so it's good to have small bills

Oh Angie - I can so relate to the night thing, It's like grazing time for me.......... LOL I really can't say I've had too much head hunger(YET!) tho Sunday I was willing to sell my soul for a SLICE OF PIZZA! And I will say this I do grab a small handful of goldfish crackers once or twice a day, but I'm able to be satisfied with it and I move on. But today is only my 14th day of the 21 day LD....

LOL too funny - I think I will stay @ the Lucerna. I started a procedure called Fraxel, here's a link you could poke around. Gosh once you get started I can see how it can become addicting

Booked my fill - June 29th staying till July1st - flight isn't till 10pm who's staying where? I stood at the Marriott the last time Since I have to go to Cosmed i was thinking about staying at the other hotel OCC offers...... Tho I really felt comfortable @ the Marriott I don't know -

OMG! it is so nothing - And you are so gonna love it. OCC is spotless clean, peeps are great friendly and helpful, I think I was on the table maybe 40 minute but when Dr. O went in he found a Hiatal Hernia, which he fixed and then band me. NO extra charge. it really is an easy recovery. And I think we all had the same feeling you do/did

OCC was amazing --- Totally- I will tell you this The flight home, was a bit hard, It was for me, It's just a long Flight! and all the sitting gassed me up for days, But that's just me.... I was glad I had a NON stop flight & stood an extra day
