  1. Good work everybody. I am down 1 1/2 pounds this week for a total of 125. Only 17 pounds to goal. Tomorrow I am going in the Times Colonist 10 K and looking forward to it.

  3. Breakfast: Tomatoe Pie apple Lunch: Tuna 5 breton oranges dinner: sweet and sour chicken peach 2 tbsp peanut butter walked 2 hours
  4. Walked 7.2 km in 60 minutes at night and 2.7 km in 25 minutes in the morning. Sorry us Canadians are metric so we do KM and not miles. Debbie
  5. That is so awesome . I can remember the first time I crossed my legs i had to pinch myself to make sure I was not dreaming. Ain't life in band land great!!!! Debbie

  7. Hahahahahahahah. Oh my God Lindsay I have not laughed that hard in ages. How long have you been dwelling on this issue? The signature has been posted for months and you are just mentioning it now. Oh my gosh I am so sorry but I find that hilarious that you let this build up for months. You really must be having a bad day. I have a really old computer and mine has no problem at all loading fast with big signatures. Let me enjoy my big pics for a few more days as I am very proud of all that I have accomplished in such a short period of time and I will try and make them smaller for you Oh my gosh I am going to wet my pants if I don't stop laughing so I need to sign off. Hope your day is better tomorrow.

  10. If you are not taking benefbre start now . You can mix it in water, juice or right not your soup and it works well. Also drink lots of fluids. It is not unusual for your bowel movements to slow right now when on fluids. Some people go a week without going when doing only fluids.
  11. Good workout week Monday: Walked 10 km . strenght training with bands Tuesday: Walked 10 km Wednesday : walked 10 km. Strength training with bands Thursday: Walked 10 km Friday: Sick so no walk. Did strength training with bands Saturday: Went on a 45 km bike ride on the trans Canada trail. Sunday: Will be walking 8 km and doing strength training
  12. Down 2.4 pounds this week. I have to pinch myself some weeks i feel so blessed. I am off for 30 km bike ride on the trans Canada trail with my daughter. Wish me luck Debbie
  13. Glad to hear that you are doing so well Carrie. I can hardly wait to see your before and after pics. I am doing really well. I think one of the keys for me was not having the fills. There have been times I was a little hungry but I really had to learn to eat right and exercise, exercise, exercise. I obviously had some retriction when i was banded because I was able to tolerate the small portions. I decided I would not get a fill unless I was starving or I went 2 weeks without loosing weight. So far no major hunger and I have consistently lost good amounts every week. I attribute that to eating right foods, right portions and exercising my butt off I am hoping to never have to get a fill. Anyways can't wait to see your pictures and I am happy to hear that you are doing so well Debbie

  18. Good for you that is awesome. I was at 317 pounds at my highest wearing a 6x at Penningtons. That was the only store that I could shop at and 6 x is their largest size. I now can walk into Walmart and buy a size large yoga pant and it fits great. ACtually the large is getting a bit big now. T shirts are large. Suit size 14-16. Don't you just love this band Debbie

    Port Pain

    I am 6 months out and the only time I have felt port pain is when i have been hiking moutains. I know it is using muscles that I am not used to so I will be aware of the port for a few minutes and then it dissappears.
