  1. I took my taxes to a tax place with all my recipts and they did it. That was 2010 and I think it was going to be the last year that you could. That is what the tax person told me.

  2. I ate 1300-1700 calories a day the whole time I was loosing. I did exercise everyday though for 30-60 minutes. I consistently lost 1-3 pounds a week and never hit a plateau. I personally think that eating too few calories is one of the main reasons that people have trouble loosing weight. Think of your body as a furnace. The fuel you feed it either stokes the fire and keeps it roaring and therefore burning more fat or if you don't give your fire ( body) enough fuel it slows down to embers and hangs on to everything you give it . Simple visual you throw wood on the fire and it keeps roaring and consuming the fuel. If you stop throwing wood on the fire the fire will eventually go right to embers and can even burn out. Hope that helps Debbie

  9. I bought these all in one piece garments. I forget what they are called but I know my lingerie shop orders them from texas. They are like a camisole with build in bra yet they hold everything in really good. Holds the girls up high and gives them good shape as well as holds the tummy in . No back fat lines or muffin tops. I love this garment and still wear it when going out even though I had my tummy tuck and am very pleased with it. Debbie
  10. I noticed some hair loss to begin with in the drain but nothing really to worry about.
  11. I love my band. I reached my goal of 175 1 week before my 1 year anniversary of being banded. I have lost 158 pounds and am living life to the fullest . Best decision I ever made and have no plans of saying bye bye to my band.
  12. I know in Canada you can be trained. I know a nurse who just had the doctor show her how to find it and teach her for I think 2 sessions and now she does it. I have heard of other nurses on foroms who just do it themselves as well.
  13. I think you have to go more by how you feel and how comfortable you are in your clothes and skin. I weight 155 with a BMI of 25.6. According to that I am still overweight however I feel great, look great an have several doctors that I work with telling me i need to stop loosing weight. I also am 5 feet 6 inches so I think if I had a BMI of 20 I would look like a bone rack and probably not feel that great. Remember that muscle weighs more that fat. I have alot of muscle on me right now so I am not concerned with the BMI and don't think that it is an accurate estimate of what is healthy for us. It is a tool but their are so many other things involved. Go more by how you feel , look and how your clothes fit. Good luck Debbie
