    Glad to see more people getting banded in December. I booked my flight today and for some reason it just made it seem more "real". I am just waiting on my passport now. I should be getting it within the next week or two max.

    Heather - thank you for that information. I will stick to one or the other. I really would like to do the shake/lean cuisine diet because I know I would lose more weight but I love the induction phase of Atkins. lol Bethsmom - wow! Great job on the 8 lbs. already. Awesome!

    Wow thank you everyone for the great advice. I think I am going to start this coming Thursday (four weeks prior to surgery) and rotate the shake pre-op diet and the induction of Atkins for variety. I really appreciate everyones' input. So excited but nervous at the same time. I am more nervous for adjusting to the new lifestyle than I am for the surgery itself.

    Hi everyone. :lb10: I am a December bandster and have been following this thread because there is not a lot of action in the December thread. I love reading about all of your surgeries and stories. My surgery is scheduled for December 18th. Can't wait. That is about 4 1/2 weeks from today. Anyone have any advice they would like to share for someone who is 4 weeks out from surgery?

    It has been a while since anyone posted to this thread but I just want to thank everyone for all of the info. There are so many things that I never would have thought of taking (gas X) that I will be taking now.

    Hi everyone...I just scheduled my appointment yesterday for December 18th!!! So excited but nervous at the same time. I am freaking out over whether or not to just go alone or try and get my honey's passport, days off etc. I am also waiting for an answer from the finance company. I do not see why they would not approve me but still...it is nerve wracking. Is anyone else getting their surgery on the 18th?
