I didn't really have that much more restriction after my first fill...But, remember that the doctor's told us that the first fill is always a bit goofy. With air getting in sometimes, the fill can go back down quite a bit. I went here at home and got a second fill 3 weeks after my first--it had gone back down from the first fill A LOT. Dr. Martinez had put in 2cc at my first fill, but in the three weeks following, it had gone down to 1cc. My doctor here put it back to 2cc and since then (1 week ago), I've lost another 3 lbs. I can tell a big difference since the second fill...suggest you get in for 2nd fill... Good Luck, Kris

Chrissy...I had the same experience when I ordered the book from his website back in March. I eventually emailed Sandy and told her that it had been nearly a month and that I hadn't received the book...she got in touch with the publisher and low and behold, I got the book a few days later. Not sure why ordering from his site is a problem, but evidently it is... I would suggest you contact someone on his staff, like Sandy or Carolyn and ask for help. Good Luck! Kris

Walk, walk, and then walk some more. Left shoulder pain is gas build up and walking a lot will help. I didn't get the shoulder pain, but I walked tons after the surgery....

I just got back from getting my first fill. The fill itself was fine...mostly painless and I can definitely tell a difference since. From the time of eating solids, post-op, I really didn't have much restriction at all--so, I am excited to finally have a bit of tightness. Just started eating solids again last night (day 3 following fill) and everything seems ok...just taking it easy with small bites and lots of chewing. I am glad to see the scales going down again... I stayed there, while being banded on 3/22. Its a nice hotel, nice staff, nice restaurant. Nothing shady about it, in the least. Go with confidence in a good experience. Kris
