Bands too tight after my fill - What should I eat? Ideas please xoxo

Recommended Posts

It tends that every time i get a fill my band causes my stomach to hyper swell so my band feels much tighter than it actually is untill the swelling goes down. I just had .3ml put in on Monday and now the swellings started I cant eat really anything until this swelling goes down.

I had 1 waterthin cracker with dip that was ok afterward s but now it sits there and wont go down and i had to vomit. Believe me i am no advocate for vomiting. My dr said he is happy to take the fill out but recommends i wait a week if i can and stick to optifast etc...

Does anyone here have any other food recommendations? I made a great broth for lunch 0_o lol!!!!!

In my favor i did 30 minutes on teh treadmill today and feel super sexy and proud because of it for some reason :)

Now to eat im thinking of a teaspoon of peanut butter to suck on or something with more flavour than an icky broth. For some reason i cant even have the yogurt drink this time round and dairy makes my saliva all thick and strange. You know how sometimes you have to spit cause of the band and the feeling in your pouch my saliva is like a spider web its long and wont break its thin and clear but really odd! Does anyone else have this?

Anyway I cant wait till this swelling goes down so i can eat more normally again, I am enlisting you to help me ;)

Thank you x

Go to Whole Foods and in the Baking Goods & Canned Goods aisle you will find a pouch of Lentil Soup (liquidy version) called Recipes of India Organic Lentil Soup. Buy this if you like spicy (not hot just super spicy).

If they have a pot of their Split Pea soup simmering in the deli get some of that too as it is liquidy as well and not chunky.

Then go down the soup aisle and grab a carton of the Imagine Creamy Tomato & packets of the Mishima Miso Soup mix. Also grab a can of Wolfgang Puck Butternut Squash.

You should be set.

Find yourself some creamy soups and protein shakes you like. I hate being on liquids after a fill - it's amazing how I was able to do the 21 days just fine, but now I find it miserable to be in liquids. I love the Campbells fiesta nacho soup or the Healthy Choice creamy tomato parsmesan bisque. Both good and filling. Give your tummy a couple days to get the swelling down and i'm sure you will be fine.

Good luck!

Adding these 2 items to my shopping list now! Thank you very much.
