Teri Posted September 13, 2007 Report Share Posted September 13, 2007 i got lasik back in 2000 - that and the lapband are the best moves i have ever made... just make sure you go with a very experienced doc - as with everything the more lasiks performed the better chances of success... i have been 20/20 for 7 yrs and before i was so blind i couldnt see more than 3 ft in front of me. Just be prepared. .8 worked great for me for several months. Now I'm at 1.4 and still able to eat what I want (and darn it, if I had any self control I wouldn't have forked out money for the band, lol).
