  1. Hi K Great piccies. Its really interesting to see where your highest stretch mark and the port scar ended up. Will this make it harder to find your port? did they tighten your muscles etc?
  2. Hi I would eat my allowed green veg in between my shakes on pre-op. I had broccoli, snow peas ,cucumber, green pepper and mushrooms on hand at all times. You are allowed upto 3lbs of green veg. In the evenings I had to take a bath and read a book while my family ate or even go to bed early. Good Luck
  3. Hi I'm not very good at describing but it was a sore pain the same as if you have a bruise and you keep poking at it. I could feel it was at the same spot when I ate or drank anything. Hope that helps. I fly to OCC tomorrow for a few hours so I'm not too concerned about catching anything. One good thing the flight was $200 cheaper than normal.LOL
  4. Hi I am a teller! Anyone and everyone strangers at the airport ,custom officer people in stores and I even offer to show them my scars.LOL I'm proud to say I've lost 90lbs and this is what helped me. Everyone is different though.
  5. Hi Yep I did this in January after being too tight for so long. I was hardly eating anything but keeping my fluids up, protein shales , soups etc. Dr Acousta told me if you are TOO tight even fluids can stretch your pouch. I had pain whenever I ate NOT the same pain as stuck. I'm now too tight again and off to get an unfill tomorrow.
  6. Hi The earliest I could get in to a Dr here is Wednesday and as I have pain when I even drink Tea I'm off to TJ for a flying visit tomorrow. I know I have to pay and spend all day traveling ,but it will be worth it.
  7. Hi So after all of above. I finally got a fill of 1.8cc in March everything was going great lost 10lbs of the 20lbs I put on until last week. TOM so expected to be tight and although I've been mainly on liquids it has stayed tight. I'm gonna call a Dr here for an unfill and hope everything settles down. Thanks
  8. Hi I believe if you say you are a patient of Dr O, it should be free.
  9. Hi I just booked for a fill and booked Westjet to fly Calgary/San Diego. They now fly direct M,W,F and S it cost me $290. Just thought I'd share with fellow Canucks.
  10. Hi I had a few comments but it was not until I would show them a before picture that they could really notice the difference. Congrats on your loss so far.

  13. Hi I had my 1st fill at the OCC and then the next 2 at home. I flew back to the OCC for an emergency unfill in January and have just had my 2nd, 1st fill this weekend. I know it is an inconvience ,especially from Canada but I will only go back to the OCC from now on for my own peace of mind.
  14. hi Jenelle Where are you going to Curves? I attend the OKotoks one and have since May 08 It definately helped. Where is the OA meeting? I would like more info on that for sure.
  15. OMG you look 10yrs younger. Congrats.
  16. Hi I agree with Lisa. Start again. Do a day of liquids to let everything settle down and then start slow with cottage cheese ,yoghurt etc then soft fish minced turkey and then solid protein. I still have a hard time with the little amount we can eat. I followed a good tip from Lisa and bought some 1/2 cup rubbermaid containers and prefill before eating. It doesn't look much, but its enough. Hope you feel better.
  17. Hey Paula I may see you again but we are doing a flying visit.
  18. Hi You look amazing just think what you'll be like with a flat tummy and new boobs.HOT!!!!
  19. Hi As you know I had an unfill in early Jan and have been struggling and have gained 20lbs back. I get my "1st" fill again on the 14th March so I am going to do 2 shakes and a lean cuisine pre-op until then. So I'm with ya.
