  1. I have gotten a few PM's re: the FL fill centers and which one I used...so i just wanted to let anyone in FL know that we have 2 fill centers. One is in Tampa- and they charge for Fluro the other is in St. Pete and they do not charge for Fluro. (they are about 3 miles from eachother..) I OBVIOUSLY went to the on in St. pete for free fluro- the nurse is AMAZING! She loves Dr. ortiz- and is very agressive with her fill amounts- she said even though she loves her patients she doesnt want to see us a lot! haha She is very gentle and they numb you with a spray so i didnt feel anything! She also unfills - WHENEVER for free. So if you live in FL and cant go back to the OCC bc its too far and tickets are too $$$$$$$ then make an appt with the Fill center for the St. Pete office! A little note for anyone who goes to a fill center- dont do what i did and look for a big sign that says Fill CEnter USA! haha They are usually in a normal dr.'s office- so make sure you call the actual dr.'s office for directions

  3. I just wanted to add that Ive been filled now for about a month..and just recently have I not been able to eat bread... I guess I could eat it if i really wanted but its reaaaaaalllly uncomfortable for a loooong period of time! I ate a 6'' veggie sub from subway for lunch and i was uncomfortable for the rest of the day. So then today, I thought id have a piece of pizza...noooope! haha Im really glad that Im not able to eat bread anymore!! Its strange how the fill can change...i know i still need a fill and Im sch. for 6/6 and I CANT WAIT! I was on a roll for a while with about 1-3 lbs per week..and how i duno what happend.. so for any of you who are dissapointed with your fill, give it a little time!
  4. OOOOH I HATE DOING THIS!!!! sooooo i was going try and fly under the radar here..but then i thought i was just cheating myself. Ive been really discouraged latley bc i havent lost anything in three weeks, and as I know i need to work for my band (which i feel like i have been-eating wise at least) still havent moved the scale..maybe its broken! haha jk! Sooooooooo i havent worked out yet..but I still have time to meet my goal for this month. I was sitting at work this morning reading through the posts and just being so proud of everyone on here for actuallly getting active- that it made me pretty disapointed in myself! sooo long story short- i have been pretty lame the past 6 six days, but will post later tonight what i did... bc im going to do something!
  5. i felt the SAME WAY! i was like well..i mean i know its not..i hope its not! haha when you see them pick you up at the airport you will be relieved...but its really not a scam!!! The OCC IS AMAZING!
  6. thank you- ive said it before- WE all have seen the scale go up and up and up and when it starts to go down it feels too good for it to stop..so its just a little scary and confusing! thats why im on here bc someone has to have gone thru it before! love you guys!
  7. hahahah thank you! i my clothes have stayed just about the same maybe a little bigger in the last few weeks....i dont htink ive been getting enough calories so ive uppped it a bit...and still nothing..UGHH soooooo annoying!!!!! i dont get it! and i just started exercising again this month for the may challenege! i hope it starts coming off soon- this has put my behind my personal schedule!

  11. umm no that is not normal.. you need to call the occ ASAP! you can get VERY sick from being dehydrated

Now that its the first..im like ooh man i dont want to- but i promised myself I would- so when I get home..im getting my butt outside and going for a run around the block even though its 9 million degrees outside!
  14. Hmmm lets see....My name is Mackenzie..obviously! haha I am 21 (almost 22). I was born in MI but moved to Sarasota, Florida when i was 7. Sarasota is the home to one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world: Siesta Key! I love living near the beaches- and take for granted all the beautiful things that we have here to see! I love in in Fl, but its HOT! I just got married on October- we just bought a new house here and we have two little Westies, Weston (6 months) and Crosby (2 years)! Until Im ready to have kids, they are enough for now! haha I run the office at my parents furniture store for now...I really want to go to cosmetology school OR become a police officer- but i think cosmetology may come first! I LOVE hanging out with my friends...used to LOVE bud light...but havent really drank since my surgery (2/27). On the weekends Im usually hanging out with my friends (which are mostly guys) or just hanging out at my house with my pups! Im pretty crazy and always up for a good time! Love music and going out dancing! I feel really lucky that I got banded while im still young, i have my whole life ahead of me! I would love to wear a bathing suit before i die!! hahaha

As for being on the go all the time- I think that slim fast would be your best bet- just stick a cooler in your car to keep them cold and throw some water in there too! THey also have little hand held mixers (i think they have battery powered) you could probably find it at target- if you still wanted to use the powder and mix your own! Good luck!
  16. Yeah-its confusing to me bc i dont really get hungry...so i eat 3 small meals a day- but dont know how much to eat- i dont want to be undernurioushed- but i dont want my band to slip! haha im a little paranoid!
  17. After I sort of freaked out the other day about what I ate, I posted about it and got some great responses. Some people implied that I might be depriving myself which caused me to (what i thought was) overeatting- others said that I wasnt eating enough at breakfast and lunch.. this lead me to the question: what are the other people eating?! On an average day, what are you eating (after youve been banded-with your fill) ? I would LOVE to hear! thanks for your help.
  18. Thank you for the comments! I wasnt sure if i was eating enough either... but then how do i know when Im eating too much? what are you all eating on an average day? MLGPDX- you absolutley did not sound rude- thank you for the comment..it made me think about things... let me know what youre eating!

I just needed to write this down and post for others to read... kind of like thearpy i guess! i had a 4oz yougurt with about 1/2 cup of granoloa for breakfast- about 1/2 a cup of cottage cheese and 1/2 a banana for lunch... then... .i duno what happend to me! when i got home- i ate a piece of bread- then for dinner i had 1 cup of grilled chicken, with a small handfull of spinach, 4 strawberries and some cheese..... AND i had 3 jalepeno poppers that i made for my husband... WHAT THE HELL?! can you tell i need another fill like asap?! reguardless of needing a fill of not i am pretty disapointed in myself, bc i knew what i was doing but didnt stop... i shouldnt have had the bread OR the poppers.... looks like the bread is going in the garbage and the poppers are too! since tomorrow is May 1st and I have joined MamaMichelles May challenge I am going to really refocus. I guess at least I knew it was wrong....however i still ate it anyway. I am DETERMINED to get (more) fit before my cruise- and i have a $5000 check waiting for me once i lose 100lbs so i need to get with the program. I am telling you ALL that I am not going to eat like that again...And I keep my word. thanks for listening

  22. sooo i think i want to try and do gold- which would be about 5 days a week whether its just walking with the dog- or speed walking and weights- i want more activity! *remember not to over do it and get burned out- ive been reading up on starting to exercise and the biggest mistake people make is trying to do too much at the start!* I think this is a GREAT idea- that way we can all keep tabs on eachother and make sure we are keeping at it!!! I want to look good in a tank top- AND i have a cruise coming up that i would like to actually wear a bathing suit for the first time in like 12 years (and im only 21!)

Super easy... last night I threw a salad together and it was awesome a handfull of spinach leaves 4 strawberries cut up about 3oz of cheese cut into small cubes 1 cup grilled chicken cubed a drizzel of Olive Oil Balsamic Vinegar salt pepper and a pinch of sugar (i like to cut things fairly small just in case i dont chew it 30 times-most of the work is already done for me) This is a well balaced meal, leafy greens, protein, fruit, health fat)
  24. if you eat 6 small meals..that means you arent drinking for 6 hours out of the day?!?? when were you banded?
