  1. It looks like, according to what is on this thread, that it would cost 199.00. I had to read it to find out but the info is on here. so is the phone # and who to contact, You might want to read the whole thread, it has lots of useful info on it.
  2. Hi, I had bread at the spaghetti factory last night and it got stuck, however I had a bite of my husbands grilled cheese sandwich last week and it went down fine. I guess it just depends. I find that it's not worth it. By the way the spaghetti factory offers a smaller adult portion for a lower price with whatever sauce you want. I still was only able to eat half of that but still better than paying full price. Of course I had to wait for the damn bread to get unstuck
  3. WOW, you look amazing.. congratulations. I am so happy for you and your mom, My son and I are both banded and it's an amazing bond we share. I am glad to see you back on the forum.. the newbies will love to see your transformation and your moms, just as I did when I was new. thanks for posting again, you were truley missed.
  4. Hi I was overfilled on my second fill so I had most of that removed (believe me you don't want to be overfilled :lb12: ) then I went a few months later for my third fill, which was half the amount of my second, I think I would like to have just a tad of that removed, still a little to tight. It is just easier to drink my calories than eat them, and that is not the purpose of the band. You will find that everyone is different, I lost all my weight on my first fill (40 lbs.) and have only maintained on the rest. I would still like to lose 10 lbs. but even with the band the last 10 is the hardest. To tell you the truth as long as I don't gain any I will be perfectly happy at this weight. I am so happy with my band, I would have gained back every thing I had lost and then some without the band. I guess I need to change my name to ..YOYONOMORE
  5. Congratulations =D> =D> You will not regret your surgery, i had all of that done and love the results, You should be so proud of yourself. I can't wait to see pictures. Thanks for posting.
  6. Hi, I live on the US side of the Canadian border, and have to cross daily, Picture Id and proof of birth is required, Passports will be mandatory in June, but they keep changing it. Anyone can get a drivers license and does not prove citizenship. So be prepared, birth certificate and picture Id required or they can detain you. As far as fills go, it's kind of bad, they say free fills, but they only do fluoro and charge 100.00 for that, My son had to point that out to me, I missed it. He was banded as well and asked that question.
  7. I do that with cigarettes! I haven't had one since Jan. 1995 and I still dream that I started smoking again. ugggg.. sometimes it seems so real. I am always glad when I wake up and find out it was only a dream, So I guess it must be normal, I still have dreams about my ex husband too and I haven't seen him for 10 years. I would rather dream of food
  8. Have you looked through the photo gallery? If not please do, there are so many, Lisal, kim2bslim, mamamichelle, mlgpdx, pammie, thats just to name a few, there really is alot of success, please don't get discouraged. most that have lost are out living life and sometimes forget to post. You are doing great and you will succeed!!
  9. That was my bigest complaint, all I could do is rub it, they say its just gas built up, it does get better however I was banded in May and I still get the pain, something I eat or drink triggers it but not sure what. I wish I was more help, Just remember your not alone and it is not uncommon to have that pain.
  10. I love broccoli too! And up until my last fill I had no problem eating it, now I am pretty tight and it seems to get stuck every time, no matter how much I chew it, It didn't cause me anymore or anyless gas than I already get. It bumms me out not to be able to eat it like I used to.
  11. Sabrina,You'll love NW Fills, they are so nice and never missed my port yet or my sons, and that was without fluoro. You will be in good hands! I never thought about spending the night when I went there, what a good Idea, I even got overfilled and had to drive all the way back 2 days later. I would join you but the 14th is my wedding anniversary so I better spend it with hubby, (although I think it would be more fun with you lol) Oh Lisa I am so wishing I was going to Hawaii too! I am so tired of this cold and snow and it's snowing right now! You better wear your bikini, you worked hard for that body and time to show it off. You will be one hot Mama (grandma) Have fun
  12. Happy New Year and Happy New You in 2009!
  13. I requested to go first when I schedueled my surgery. I also planned on going back to the hotel right after so I asked for a semi private room and saved a couple hundred bucks. (no need for a tv when you come and go so fast). Again I had to arrange all that when I first made my appointment.
  14. YOU ARE A BRAVE BRAVE WOMEN!!! Wow... Glad you made it ok, Hope this fill works well for you, remember to chew chew chew.
  15. MERRY CHRISTMAS, to everyone as well. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. (P.S. Kim you are looking great) Linda
  16. OMG Anne Marie, you are so you beautiful!!! you look so familar have I meet you somewhere before? Were you in TJ either in January or May??? Or maybe I have seen your picture somewhere. You look way thinner than a 43 BMI, You must carry your weight well, I had to laugh, I noticed you put your band date down on the roll call as 10/6, but you said you were banded On June 10th my husband pointed out you must of been born in CANADA, thats how they do their dates, he is a proud Canadian, any who,, I haven't weighed myself in a month. I was a slave to the scale for many years. and find that they discourage me. I find that I am much better off not weighing myself daily and just step on the scales once a month. Hope everyone is enjoying the Holidays. PS my step daughter looks your age and her name Is Anne Marie as well. (30)

We couldn't leave soon enough. I guess It's not everyones cup of tea. Glad I went just to see, but I will never go back!

  21. Hi Trina, thanks for the pm.. I am so glad you are doing ok and hubby is coming back in January. You look HOT!! My son is now in Iraq. and won't even be home for the birth of his son. My grandson!! OMG still have a hard time saying the G word. LOL My other son and I went for a fill today and Justin asked them about being able to eat a whole lean cuisine, They said no problem, that is fine, you would need to eat that much to get your nutrients in, and to keep you satisfied for at least 4 hrs. As you know I eat a whole lean cusine, and I lost weight. My problem is the wine Please keep in touch, I still plan on coming to visit on my way to see my new grandson in March.. Again you are doing great. keep up the good work.. and strip your way to thin.LOL
  22. Oh I am so happy you didn't have to have surgery, thank you so much for the update, we all have been worried!! Now you can concentrate on yourself and not worry about it leaking. Good luck.
  23. Hi scott, I'm assuming you are a guy, My son was banded in January and his scars are covered by hair. but they are not very visible. Mine are not covered by hair (thank god) LOL, and I was banded in May, I wore a 2 piece all summer and only one time did someone ask me how I got scratched, I told them a friends cat.. Only the large scar above the port is visible. There are some pictures of scars on here, just don't know the links off hand. Maybe if you just search scars, it will pop up for you. Hope this helps.
  24. OK It's midnight and i just got off work..and I failed I have food stuck as we speak!! I have been sliming for an hour. Stuffing is not my friend.
