FLAN

I just got my email from Lori and was told that my surgery date is going to be June 2. I was all anxious and couldn't wait to get a surgery date, now I am nervous as hell. :bad: I have always struggled with my weight, and now is my chance to finally have a tool that will help me lose the weight. I am so glad that I found this board before my surgery. I love hearing about all of your experiences and troubles that you have had along the road to the new you. I can't wait to join you in "Bandland" I guess the countdown has now began!!!

The only person who knows that I am going to have the surgery is my husband. I haven't even told my best friend that I am going to have it done. I talked about having it done and she told me how dangerous it was and that I didn't need to have it. I want to tell my mom, but she will be TOTALLY AGAINST going to MEXICO to have surgery. I'm not telling any of my co-workers because I don't want the question, "How much have you lost so far?" all the time. My brother-in-law lives in CA, so my hubby and I are telling everyone that we are going out there to see him (they don't know he lives about 5 hours from where we will be).
