Thanks everyone for all the support. Yesturday was so hard,but i survived and today is a new day. I get really hungry around 2:30 p.m. I don't know why put I too want to eat everything in the frige. I need to keep very possitive and by the way name is Alexandra. Keep strong everybody on the pre-op

Am starting my pre-op today and I'm nervous and I keep telling myself that I'm not going to be able to this, but I know I can. I will stay positive through out the day. I will keep you guys posted on my progress. My surgery date is June 6 and I can't wait.

My surgery is June 6 and I have the same fears that you are having. I keep telling my self that I'm justing going to wast my money and this will be just another diet I have failed. But I can't think like that. I alway read the forum and get stronger from what I read. I will suceed and I will be able to go to an amusment park and ride the rides with my son. That my goal. I can totally relate to you. My surgery date is June 6 and I know that I will be starting my pre-op soon so I'm eating like crazy. I think it's because I' nervous about the whole experience. But I'm very excited to start my journey to my new life... A healthier me. I keep telling myself that I need to stop eating like this cuz I don't want to gain any more weight, but the closer I get to my pre-op the more nervous I get and the more I want to eat. I'm a emotional eater and I know that. So stay on track and I will do the same.

I choose not to tell many people. I only told my husband, one of my sisters, and my mom. I only told my mom cuz I need her to take care of my two small boys, but other than that I do not want anybody else to know. I do not want to be asked 100 questions especially because I'm having the surgery in Mexico. So i guess I would say that I'm being private about my decision.

I am a new member and I have been reading a lot about the lap-band. I am scheduled for surgery on June 6 and I'm very excited, but I have a few concerns. I been reading about the fills that you guys talk about and I have no idea about what you guys are taking about. Can someone please let me know what this refers to? Also people have been talking about not loosing weight with the band. I know that the band is not a magic pill, but I do think that it will help me restrict my food intake. Please let me know if I'm wrong. Maybe I need to do more homework on the band before I get it. I'm just so tired of gaining weight. I feel so hope less and know, I think, I found my solution. #-o
