    My surgery date is June 16. I am doing the 2 protein shakes and the lean cuisine. I plan on eating alot of salads.

    My pre-op diet begins today. I have got 18 lbs to loose before surgery.

    For those of you that have been to the OCC, What documents are needed to cross over in to Mexico? I was reading on the hotel web site about a tourist migatory form. I have photo ID and passport, Do I need anything else?

    When I go for my fills, I have decided to have the fill the first day and spend the night and come back the next day. That way, I should know before then if the fill i to tight. I am still trying to find a dr who will do my fills that is closer, But I am having no luck. Other than the insurance, this has been the most frustrating thing that I have encountered. So, looks like I will still be driving to Missouri. My wife and I are going to use the trip as a reason to get away for some quality time.

    Welcome to the site. I am new to the forum as well. I am just trying to learn as much as I can before my surgery next month. There is alot of good, accurate information here, that I know will come in handy. .

    My surgery date is June 16 and I plan on using the Fill center USA in Farmington , Missouri. I will have to travel 190 miles for my fills but I am unable to go to TJ for my fills. I did find one dr 45 miles away, but he wanted $600 a fill. I was reading on another site, where Dr Ortiz is on the Medical Advisory Board of the Fill Centers USA. He as well, played part in their planning. The site also said that the OCC had acess your records at the fill centers.

    We will be flying out, June 18 at 11:25 am , back to the great state of Tennessee. I have been looking for someone on the forum who is going to be there during the time that I am . Surely, I am not the only one having surgery, June 16th.

    I was considering the "Mini Gastric Bypass" as well. My dr was not for it and would not give me a letter of recommendation.

    My surgery is not until June 16th, but I plan to use the Fill Center in Farmington, Missouri. I will have to drive 190 miles, but it is closer than the one in Roswell, Ga.

    I was thinking of using chop sticks, since I have never used them before. I figured they would slow things down, quite a bit. lol All jokes aside, the baby spoon is a great idea!

    Good luck. I start my pre-op diet the end of this month. I am so not looking forward to it.
