  1. Thank you. I am having a problem beause I live in a small town. All I have is Walmart and GNC. I don't like to shop at GNC. Half the ones I have looked up online have them in it or don't list the other ingredients just the ones of how much cal,fat,protein, viatamins..etc
  2. I am having a problem finding a shake that is Malt or maltodextrin FREE, I am allergic to it and can't have anything with it in it. I would like to have lapband done but need to find a shake with out this in it. It is a common allergy so I was hopeing someone here already knows or can peak at the brand they use. I have called bariatricadvantage and it is in theirs. any and all help would be great. I have found one Brand is NOW foods. Whey Protein Isolate has anyone every tasted this brand?
  3. I didn't have weight loss surgery but my last pregnacy I talked to my Dr a TON about weight beacuse I was over weight to start at 260. He said it was ok for me to only gain 10-15 lbs just as long and I was walking and eating healthy. In the end I gained 18 lbs. I was fine with that and very happy and proud of my self that I could do it. You will not gain to much if you stick to the 500 extra cal a day rule that you are supose to have while preg. That extra 500 cal. is a glass of skim milk and HALF a peanutbutter sandwich. Thats it if you can get past the eating for 2 rule you will be fine. Good luck and keep us posted.
  4. being over weight and having knee pain/injury is hard. I am going through that at the moment (having a MAJOR knee surgery May 4th) I was asked by the Dr to get in the best shape I can beofre surgery but I have only 2 options for working out that he will let me do. Exercise bike and anything water that doesn't make it hurt worse. I have since then joinned a water exercise class. I go in the early am 6-7am. I love it and it has been working well for me try to see what your area offers. I also know that keep a journal helps as you may be putting little things in your mouth that you don't even realize at times, Also write down what you are drinking.
  5. Have you tried to switch the type/brand of potein shakes you are drinking? I would have to say it is because of diet change and your body it just reacting to it. It might take a while for you body to catch up to the way you are eating now. I would also say this your body processing the fat loss and it has to leave the body some way.
  6. I would try not to eat a whole meal and test your new stomach. I have read that plication and band are so diffrent you might have to change your way of thinking to what is full. I am thinking about having plication done and have done a tone of reserch on it I just need to come up with the money. I have been using http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ and it is awsome. I have done weight watchers before online and this is sorta like that but free and you can track your calories and fitness and weight loss. I hope it helps you I know it keeps me on track.
