My surgery took about 25 minutes, I was in the recovery bed for about an hour, and now I am up walking aroud. Dr. Ortiz stuck his head in while I was getting up to walk and was amazed at how fast I came out! I don't feel terrible...maybe like I was punched in the stomach a few times, but it is getting better. Just wanted to let anyone who is on the edge about coming here know - DO IT!!! I still have a horrible body image problem and do not see what I see in the photos in the mirror...sometimes I will see my reflection and not believe it.
