  1. But Kimmie, I want a play by play!!!

My fill is on Monday and yesterday and today I have totally been a BAD GIRL! Go ahead and cuss me Cedar! LOL LOL

I pretty much have no restriction, except for when bread is in the picture, and I have to go on will power to keep losing. I am hoping all this will change Monday when I get a good fill. Anyway, I am not gonna give ya'll all the gory details of my CheatFest 2008, but I feel so bad about what I ate.

Ah well, tomorrow is a new day and I will just jump back on the bandwagon.

  2. Too funny Michelle. You know willT was right on that.

Even though I told Dr. O that I came to his clinic to find the body that matched my ankles, I'd be happy being a size 10 again. It's been 7 years or so.

The ankles just need to get bigger so I'll be all set. Anyone know how to make ankles bigger?

I started as a 22 in Jan and was in a size 20 when I had my surgery in late Feb.. Currently I have been in a size 12 for a few weeks and I'm thinking I won't reach a size 10 till I am around 160-170lbs.. My weight is more evenly dispersed which is good I guess for dropping sizes but I'll never have those skinny arms and legs like some of ya'll out there...

I never really thought of a goal size the smallest I recall being was an 8 in high school when I weighed 140ish, and that was with 2hrs of drill team before school and lacrosse practice after school, I have a lot of muscle so I don't know if I'll be able to weigh much less than that but when I went to the store to try on new goal dresses I got an 8 and a 6 and tried the 6 first which I was able to get on so I didn't even try the 8...

I figure my body will settle where it wants to and if I want to keep losing I can use the band (and a lot of exercise) to get me in the smaller sizes... So I would be happy as a 10, excited as an 8 and over the moon ready to pose for playboy if I ended up a size 6 (lol, not really on the playboy thing sorry WillT but you girls know what I mean)

  3. You can bring them with you!!! Just check your luggage.

There are also convenience stores - ask the driver to pop into one!!

So, if I can't bring those juices with me, can I pick them up in San Deigo when I get there? I just don't want to pay $4 a cup for juice. Any suggestions what to do then?

    thanks, dianna

  4. Dianna,

You might check with your airline. I know beverages in carry on luggage are restricted but am not sure about checked baggage.

PRESCRIPTIONS: It's always wise to CARRY ON your prescriptions in case your luggage gets lost. They need to be in a large ziplock bag.

LIQUIDS (BEVERAGES): But, if you have makeup, lotions, and possibly boxed apple juices, you might be able to pack that in the LUGGAGE that you will CHECK and not carry on the plane with you. I took a large bottle of shampoo, large tube of toothpaste, etc. No restriction on the ounces.

    Again, check with your airline!

I am starting my list of things to bring. I was reading C1bandedbabe's post and was wondering if I could bring in my luggage juice boxes, pain medication. Since 9/11, I am not sure if they allow fluids over some many ounces on planes. (C1bandedbabe: loved your question! I had them too, and loved all the responces that you got. This was very helpful to me! I am so excited for you. I love hearing your updates!) Thanks everyone!!

    Dianna

  6. Well we have to remember it took us a long time to gain this extra weight we are carrying around.

Any weight loss is a plus!

It might take us time to get to get our band where we need it to be for weight loss. But I'm confident we will get there.

Please don't be unhappy with your results. Just keep on chugging. I think many make the mistake of just giving up and not going back for an adjustment.

    It will work.
