But Kimmie, I want a play by play!!!
My fill is on Monday and yesterday and today I have totally been a BAD GIRL! Go ahead and cuss me Cedar! LOL LOLI pretty much have no restriction, except for when bread is in the picture, and I have to go on will power to keep losing. I am hoping all this will change Monday when I get a good fill. Anyway, I am not gonna give ya'll all the gory details of my CheatFest 2008, but I feel so bad about what I ate.
Ah well, tomorrow is a new day and I will just jump back on the bandwagon.

Ute, better be careful, cedartown will have our heads!!!!
Maybe we should leave them at home :whistle3: j/kCan't wait to meet you guys on Sunday - I made the reservation at the "All You Can Eat" place, right down the street
-
Val, you know if you joined us, the platonic part would be thrown out, right?
Darn, I wish I could join you guys... just a little too far for me to travel. -
willi333 (Ute), willT (Bill) and I are heading to Roswell, GA this Sunday, June 22 for a fill/adjustment. Our spouses are joining us so this will be purely a platonic get together! Awwww shucks ::kickin dirt:::
If anyone else is going to Roswell Sunday or lives in the area, let us know. We'd like the opportunity to meet our fellow bandsters.

Cedar,
You didn't have anything to do with Paula Dean's restaurant, Lady & Sons, burning down Sunday night, did ya?
Just kidding.I'm on day 18 & delusional.I'm ready for some pinto beans & cornbread.
I'm thinking about deleting the food network from the remote control.

Too funny Michelle. You know willT was right on that.
Even though I told Dr. O that I came to his clinic to find the body that matched my ankles, I'd be happy being a size 10 again. It's been 7 years or so.
The ankles just need to get bigger so I'll be all set. Anyone know how to make ankles bigger?
I started as a 22 in Jan and was in a size 20 when I had my surgery in late Feb.. Currently I have been in a size 12 for a few weeks and I'm thinking I won't reach a size 10 till I am around 160-170lbs.. My weight is more evenly dispersed which is good I guess for dropping sizes but I'll never have those skinny arms and legs like some of ya'll out there...I never really thought of a goal size the smallest I recall being was an 8 in high school when I weighed 140ish, and that was with 2hrs of drill team before school and lacrosse practice after school, I have a lot of muscle so I don't know if I'll be able to weigh much less than that but when I went to the store to try on new goal dresses I got an 8 and a 6 and tried the 6 first which I was able to get on so I didn't even try the 8...
I figure my body will settle where it wants to and if I want to keep losing I can use the band (and a lot of exercise) to get me in the smaller sizes... So I would be happy as a 10, excited as an 8 and over the moon ready to pose for playboy if I ended up a size 6 (lol, not really on the playboy thing sorry WillT but you girls know what I mean)

You can bring them with you!!! Just check your luggage.
There are also convenience stores - ask the driver to pop into one!!
So, if I can't bring those juices with me, can I pick them up in San Deigo when I get there? I just don't want to pay $4 a cup for juice. Any suggestions what to do then?thanks, dianna

Great idea.
Be careful with pain relievers. I had a horror story. I needed something for pain and thought I'd open a liquid gelcap. Well, I did and that stuff was AWFUL, I spit and choked and gagged for what seemed like hours.
Be sure you have liquid pain reliever or chewable pain relievers!!!!!!!

Dianna,
You might check with your airline. I know beverages in carry on luggage are restricted but am not sure about checked baggage.
PRESCRIPTIONS: It's always wise to CARRY ON your prescriptions in case your luggage gets lost. They need to be in a large ziplock bag.
LIQUIDS (BEVERAGES): But, if you have makeup, lotions, and possibly boxed apple juices, you might be able to pack that in the LUGGAGE that you will CHECK and not carry on the plane with you. I took a large bottle of shampoo, large tube of toothpaste, etc. No restriction on the ounces.
Again, check with your airline!
I am starting my list of things to bring. I was reading C1bandedbabe's post and was wondering if I could bring in my luggage juice boxes, pain medication. Since 9/11, I am not sure if they allow fluids over some many ounces on planes. (C1bandedbabe: loved your question! I had them too, and loved all the responces that you got. This was very helpful to me! I am so excited for you. I love hearing your updates!) Thanks everyone!!Dianna

TONIGHT is our Monday Night Group Chat - be there or be square.
It's where we can let our hair (or hairs for some) down and get to know one another. Also where we can talk "band" in real time. Another great way to support one another!

Well we have to remember it took us a long time to gain this extra weight we are carrying around.
Any weight loss is a plus!
It might take us time to get to get our band where we need it to be for weight loss. But I'm confident we will get there.
Please don't be unhappy with your results. Just keep on chugging. I think many make the mistake of just giving up and not going back for an adjustment.
It will work.
What are the post fill guidelines for 2nd fill at FILL CENTER?

Ok, going to have second fill tomorrow. Having it done at Fill Center (Roswell). I know no eating 8 hours before appt. No liquids 4 hours before appt. But, what I don't know, what happens after the fill? I hear we drink water, but then what? Do we go on liquids? Or is it like the OCC on second fill - where they let you go eat something to test it?
Anyone know?
