I forgot to say the immodium made it controllable but didn't stop it.... :-?

I will add my TMI.....I have the other problem and have had bad unstoppable diarhea for two days...I did go get liquid immodium and I think I am still hydrated enough but it is more that annoying......any body have this problem...I am only 4 days post surgery...thanks for your help!!!!

The next weekend sounds good to me Renee.....I may need to come in on Friday night...leave Sat or maybe we should make it a weekend and stay 2 nights or I could just stay in a hotel at the airport Fri night.......I can't wait for my fill just cause I will get to see my band buddy again!!!!!

I haven't been hungry at all...head hunger because of course I am used to eating all the time, but not true hunger and if I look at the food it doesn't look good to me right now. So, I guess I am enjoying that, but yeah the soups will taste good. I had a drinkable yogurt today and that tasted good!

Great to hear from you Andrea! I have lost 2 pounds since surgery, but I am still bloated and holding water...I can tell you know how that feels maybe in a day or two the scale will catch up! I didn't even dare to get on it until this morning! Keep in touch!

Yes you can swallow the pills after surgery. I had surgery Monday and the phazyme has really helped me! Good Luck on your Journey! =D>

Hello woman! A get together would be great!

I was just banded this monday and I did take some chicken bouillon cubes, special k protein water packets, and other drink mixes to put in bottled water...It helped me to have that but there is a convenience store directly across from the hotel that has juice/gatorade/water. I also ate at the hotel restaurant after surgery even if it was a bit much for a bowl of broth I enjoyed it and the staff was very attentive and kind!

Mackenzie...I live in central florida...was it the one listed in Tampa or St Pete...I know your post says St Pete but I just wanted to double check....I was just banded on Monday and will keep the info for future reference...thanks and good luck!

I hope that all went well for you. I was by myself and had surgery Monday 4/7. I had a lot of support from fellow bandsters who were there. I hope it was the same for you!

Thank you everyone for your support!!! I am in the lobby of Hotel Lucerna waiting for Francisco. OF course I woke up early! I have been walking and walking so thus far just a little shoulder pain from the gas. everyone pray that i will be comfortable and not miserable on the long plane ride home! Lynn

I am in florida too...just had surgery so it will be six weeks before i need a fill, but I would love to hear how your experience goes when you get back!

=D> I am so happy! I am just back at hotel lucerna after having surgery yesterday. The surgery went well and everyone is so kind. I actually had lost one more pound on Dr Mirandas scales! The nursing staff is wonderful as well as the doctors. I found Mrs Ortiz to be so sweet and concerned for all of us like we were her children for the few days we are here. Any way, I guess i need to go in and change my signature to show the pound I lost and that I had the surgery. Thank you everyone, you have been great support!!!!!

Looking at Christmas pictures this year! My sister takes most of the pictures in our family and it seems that in everyone she had a picture of my huge butt! There were pictures from our brothers Christmas party and I looked at a lot of friends we had grown up with happy and healthy and here I am overweight with health issues looming in the not so distant future. I can't wait to officially begin my journey with the band on Monday, even if I am nervous about it.

I have read Skinny Bitch and wasn't too impressed. It was a little too in your face/ outlandish for me. But to each his own! I am reading Kahliah Ali's book on Lap band....she had one in 2003-04( not sure of date) So far so good. I got it on Amazon for $6.00 and the shipping cost me 3.99. I also have Before and After. It is by Susan Marie something she had RNY, but there are alot of good recipes in it and I found her journal entries funny in the begining of the book. Don't know if this helps, but here it is :-?
