    I start my pre op diet on Monday an it seems like for the last month I've been eating and drinking like it will be my last meal and last drink. Instead of having 2 drinks on the weekend it's been more like 7. I feel terrible! Tell me I'm not alone and others have done this????

    While I was preggers withmy girls I had really bad constipation and the only thing that ever worked for me was a large cup of black coffee. I don't know why but it worked every time.

    I PLAN on being private about my band. I made the mistake of telling a couple friends, 1 was great, the other tried to tell me that this was insane and it is only for people who are majorly obese and that she has all these stories to tell me about surgery in Mexico and tried to make me promise not to do it and have it done in Canada....So lesson, I haven't talked about it since.

    Can you tell me how you did this please? Did you do it via pay pal...See the reason I ask is because I'm a retard lol and when I was trying to send my deposit I actually sent money via echeck and it took about 2 weekfs for them to get it. Did you pay via credit card? Did you go to the "send money option" I think this is where I went wrong....I do have my bank account and 1 credit card attached to pay pal but it decided to take it out of my account for some reson HELP>>>I"M NOT ALL THAT SMART WHEN IT COMES TO PAY PAL!

    I arrive on May 28th and the big day is May 29th. I both excited and scared at the same time kwim... Question...Do I need to so anything with regards to hotel booking or do they do it? and who do I send my flight itinerary to?

    Since oral contraceptives increase blood clotting, has anyone ever been asked to stop taking hormonal birth control pills prior to surgery? I’ve read through the paper work but can’t seem to find anything.

    Has anyone ever paid for their procedure with a credit card, how do you do this?. I am one of those people that use credit cards for everything. I tried to pay with credit card via pay pal for my deposit and I don’t know what the heck I did but I ended up paying via e-check (which is not allowed). Sorry for this next dumb question, BUT how do you wire money, I’ve never had to do this, can you do it at any bank? Thanks

    I’m not banded YET BUT I was wondering..If I decide (not for another 2 years) to have another baby, what should one do to prevent doing any damage to the band….especially if you get morning sickness?

    Hi caro, I will be banded on May 29th and scared out of my mind of everything.....from getting on the plane by myself to the surgery to the post op to the new life style change. I love this forum, I have went to scared stiff to scared out of my mind (big step for me) I am hoping I over the next 7 weeks I will calm down to nervous. Nice to meet you!!! Heather

    Just booked my flight yesterday and also went to the passport office to get that aswell (I'm from Canada) this has made it soooo real for me. I leave on May 28th!!

    I just got back. They are calling me with the results. BUT when they were doing the physical they found a murmer in 1...news to me, this is freaking me out...he will be going for a ultrasound to have a look. AND the other one has conjuctavitus sp? in the eye. Good thing I took them today!!!
