  8. i think yall doing it together would be a great support to each other. i do not have any advice for your son. is it possible for him to go with you and you and your husband do surgery oppisite days. i really had no problem. two days later we went to the san deigo zoo. it was awsome. i found myself a little sore but more than able to do stuff. let me know how it goes.
  9. i am so ticked!! i walked this morning and went to sam's wholesale and have done some more carpets. i looked at my meter earlier and it said 4000 and some change. i just looked at it again and it said 201 steps. i must of pressed something on it without knowing so i guess today is just a wash. has this happened to anyone else? this was going to be my BIG day.

  11. we all know how important protien is. well fiber is real important too. some do not have a problem in the poop department. i do. we should have 30 grams of fiber a day. for me that is hard. i found something that tastes great and has alot of fiber. fiber one 9 grams of fiber and kelloges fiber all bars 10 grams. they have different flavors like chocolate chip and peanut butter and granola. they taste great. they are a great choice to keep in your purse for emergencies. i am going to eat one for breakfast and maybe a snack sometimes. try them.

  13. so today was my first day with my peter meter...oh i meant pedometer. i did not do all that great i have to say. i only did 7932. i decided to steam clean my carpets today but my cleaner was broke so i went and got a new one from wal-mart. i came home and put it together than took an advil. i finally started the cleaning process. my carpets were in real bad shape with 2 kids and 2 dogs. i worked on it all day. i had planned to go for a walk but i was just bushed. my arm hurts from pushing that thing back and forth for hours. i should have put the meter on my arm. i am sure my arm did a marathon. maybe i will do better tomorrow ...but tonight my down stair carpets look great. i might give my arm a break before i do upstairs. on another note...these new carpet cleaners have such small water containers. i had to change it out every 5 minutes. i hope yall did better than me. dawn

  15. i personally liked boost high protien. . i used it for the first 3 weeks, but dropped it after that because it has more calories than some of the others. it also had more protien than slimfast. i needed those calories during the first weeks for energy. i only drank 1 a day. i do not know how many others drank. even with the boost i had a hard time getting in 600 calories to start with. dawn
  16. it will ease some of your pain and give a homeless dog a new home. it sounds like a no brainer to me. loss is something everyone deals with differently. some might wait, while others jump right in. i think you will know what is right for you. let us know? dawn
  17. i told you gals i was going to buy one of those things this week. well i went to the store with my mom and i was trying to remember the name when she said"you mean a peter meter". i just started to laugh and said it might would help me loose weight if i worked on that a little more too. anyway at walmart today i bought my meter although it was not a peter meter. i told hubby he would have to keep trac. so you will start to see me post....about walking that is. dawn

  19. I do not know if this will help,but on one of the lapband websites a lady talks about finally being able to do roller coasters with her children. That would lead me to think it is okay. Someone should still ask when they go. Bring us back the facts. Dawn

  21. I burp too. The real funny thing is that they can be really long burps. That use to gross me out. We were not allowed to burp like that because it was rude. Sometimes I spend more time trying to hind the burps than I do eating the food. I guess that could be a good thing.   22. the first couple of days were no big deal and you did not want anything. I did get a little tuff but than you got the soups and protien shakes. It will be alright. I just marked my calender and tried to stay focused on other things. Dawn

  24. I wish I could help. I know the scale does not always reflect the truth. Try one of those scales that do the body fat and such. You might want to measure also. Dawn
