  1. Glad this post came back up because I have been making a really good protein shake!! It was actually recommended by Dr. Miranda. I hate protein, but this one is awesome! Especially for Post op! 1 to 1/2 C. 1% milk or Lactaid Milk Protein Powder (however much you can handle) 2 T. Sugar Free Nestle Quik (Chocolate) 1/2 Banana Ice Blend in Blender.... AMAZING!!

  5. That is soooo freaking funny that you mentioned spongebob.. My Hubby and I were ROLLING as well. I wanted to see how they laughed to see if it compared... UHHH, nothing like the real thing eh!! Patrick's laugh was sooo not the same!
  6. I just got off the phone with my cousin who also does my hair.. she told me that she has a client who just had lapband and has lost quite a bit of hair. Her client has been sick a lot tho which doesn't help with the hair loss either. She said to make sure I keep up on my vitamins, cause that is the main reason for the loss and to use Nioxin hair products!!!
  7. lisal, What kind of medication do you have on hand for the nausea and where did you get it by chance??
  8. I would call Dr. Miranda or email her on Monday and just let her know whats up... You can crack down and lose some weight in 4 days still... Don't give up!!

  11. I don't think mine is up as high as yours, but what I did do... I went and bought a piece of junk bra that really didn't do anything for me (no underwire) and I have just been wearing that. That helped a ton.. Give it a shot!

  15. Speaking of Volleyball.. I can totally relate.. I played volleyball in college and my excersise for pre op was competitive volleyball!!!! I could tell a huge difference in my knees as I lost some weight! We should get a round of Volleyball going when we all get back together! I'm DOWN!!!! Mamamichelle........... BRING IT!!
  16. Sounds good!!!! What's awesome is that if you just remember that tomorrow is another day, it makes things a lot easier. Thats what I have to tell myself if I am struggling.. TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY OF NEW CALORIES!!! haha!

  19. Are we only supposed to drink the protein shakes on the post op diet from day 6 to day 10 and then stop??? I'm so confused! Then, if that is the case, how much protein are we supposed to have after that??? And any ideas or menus of what you ate from day 11 to 21?? HELP!
